Hey guys don't worry - you can still get ICS on HTC Desire HD. Just follow this step by step tutorial -
surely you can root it and repartition the space and install ICS onto it. may not be a quick fix but if you keen enough to have it, there's always ways around it!

Very Dissapointed to hear that desire Hd Won't get update to ICE CREAM SANDWICH and is limited to Gingerbread :-(
DHD is also the last htc phone for me..:( because there isn't ics for it..
iphone is the next
i wish you luck htc
I think this is my last HTC smartphone,,,, in future I won't come back to HTC I am entering to Samsung world bye bye HTC
The main reason is I bought DHD for 28500rs but in this is model I got only one major update 2.3.5 but no 4.0 what a funny ( the Desire C if got already 4.0)
This is very very shame soooo any how they are so behind with competators.
This is repeating the downfall of good companies by having the wrong marketing strategy. HTC will definitely loose costumers with such a decision. I am one of them.
my htc phone is not coming up again and if it accidentally does it goes off even when not touched and on authomatically when off....what can i do to it????
I own a htc desire hd,but I can't use the the video every time I used the video it says (the application camera(process com.android.camera)has stopped unexpectedly.please try again).
Any idea how to fix this problem?
Anonymous, 29 Jul 2012Ill never buy htc again. Htc dont care about thier customer. No ics update for dhd.Get your stats right bro... get into samsung territory and u know htc makes far better phones - albeit at a premium. The build quality of htc is superior to samsung (I'm a samsung owner for the obvious reason they are cheaper)
