Download the 'Juice Defender' app from the Android market, Since I have downloaded it I get 2 days easily from the battery with moderate use. Obviously with wi-fi and bluetooth off too.

I have this phone and it does everything I need it to do and more. The screen display is amazing and it's really fast. Only cons would be that it's not multi-touch (that I know of) and it doesn't have a second camera. That's it. I recommend this to anyone who has the budget for it (it pretty dear).

HTC desire HD much better than xperia arc. Battery las 2 days of moderate use :). or 10 our of internet use.

HTC got it all wrong..... The battery on this fella is 1230mAh. The ChaCha has 1250mAh.
No wonder all HD2 and HD Desire users are complaining of the battery drain. Its not a problem if you have a extra charger in the office.
Or you have to carry a external charger wherever you go....
It should be at least 1500mAh!!

HTC, EVO 4 have large screen and dual cameras.
Android is very good software and open software, now, window has no much application.

My DHD is now upgraded to 2.2.1, I suggest you stop this version because it is change map,gps and other ,everything is ok.You upgrade more,you should see something problem. I like it very much because only hand phone with bigest display.

Got new update, nothing special. 2,50,405,2 It is called wifi update. Still got message problem and music player problem.

its a very nice phone ....used it for 3 months ..never had a battery problem.... screen is the most wonderful part... its pleasure to surf net on such a large screen and play angry birds

nice phone , one of the rare phones that i am satisfied ,much beter then any phones that i ever had before,the only problem is the batteryes, it keeps 3 days only , but there is no magic, with such a biig and beautifoul screen ... rusns all the games grate, fast loading, fast screen, quick responce to any button, a lot's of programmes and applications to load free,i don't know if somebody has compare it with galaxy 2? but i am realy satisfied with this phone and android app.

adi90, 16 Jul 2011agreed to that. should became one of the legendary phone such as n95it already is.it's far better than the galaxy s and the rest.the problem is people don't know how to use a smartphone especially dhd.it easily beats everything out there but you just have to do some tweaks.it is incredible how people complain about battery life and they don't even know how a 2 nd generation snapdragon behaves and that it's built on a 45nm arhitecture.for me it is a legend and i am going for the sensation as my next one.all Htc phones that i have owned were simply great.i am satisfied with them so i'll stick with them in the future as i did not get the same satisfaction from any other company bee it apple or samsung.i like samsung phones but i don't share their enthusiasm for the plastichy body and designs that they use....

Everthing is great....except for battery life...1 day, 4-6 hrs in wifi at mos.

i have this issue with my Htc Desire HD, that everytime i turnoff my screen, and turns it on again the mobile network have no connection.
some times i get an sms at 4 o clock at the night, but the sender sendet me the sms at 20 o clock.
everytime i turn on my screen to unlock there is no service.
please help

kk, 16 Jul 2011buddies, let me know about the battery life . . . once charged fully, how long does it last w... more confirming 24 heavy hours.recommend to install apn switch on/off widget and do not use internet except wifi
