i am in india,i was contact with customer support of htc.they said in india will be get gingerbread update coming june (1week) without fail.i am eagerly waiting for update.

is there any reason i have not up to this date recieved Gingerbread on my unlocked sim free HTC DESIRE HD as yet,it is frustrating waiting on an update everyone seems to have and there is no sight of one for me ..............and i brought my phone from Amazon

I have updated a long time. And there seems to b a few problems. When I am tipping sms, and I made mistake and I touch back space (to delete a letter) and it set me somewhere else, it is very very annoying. It is very buggy. so far, not so satisfied with 2,3,3

I updated to gingerbread 2.3.3 today is this the latest or 2.3.4? runs smoothly and seems battery usage is improved a certain extent.

Tied of waiting for HTC & Vodafone in Australia to release Gingerbread 2.3.4 every time I ask the question I get a blank none committal response as if we the consumers are plain idiots. Selling my Desire HD, change carriers and get the Samsung Galaxy S II running 2.3.4 instead.

rebel, 23 May 2011choose generic firmware but then u will not get arabic language i thinkmy phone in unlocked from htc at first day and is not superted arabic or persian lang...

As far as i'm aware, if your handset is locked to a network the 2.3 update will not be available yet. In regards to the handset's performance - I couldn't really be happier. Well, I lie... I could have a Samsgung Galaxy S 2, but as it is, i'm tied into a contract and the HD is a brilliant phone regardless!

Hi can anyone tell me the battery life on this phone how good is it? With internet data running and without? If the phone is barely used after a full charge, how long will it last?

Just got this phone last month and I'm loving it. It may not have a dual core processor but it rocks. Just learn how to use this phone first before saying any negative stuff. It's more than what I expected it to be.
