I updated to gingerbread 2.3.3 today is this the latest or 2.3.4? runs smoothly and seems battery usage is improved a certain extent.

Tied of waiting for HTC & Vodafone in Australia to release Gingerbread 2.3.4 every time I ask the question I get a blank none committal response as if we the consumers are plain idiots. Selling my Desire HD, change carriers and get the Samsung Galaxy S II running 2.3.4 instead.

As far as i'm aware, if your handset is locked to a network the 2.3 update will not be available yet. In regards to the handset's performance - I couldn't really be happier. Well, I lie... I could have a Samsgung Galaxy S 2, but as it is, i'm tied into a contract and the HD is a brilliant phone regardless!

Hi can anyone tell me the battery life on this phone how good is it? With internet data running and without? If the phone is barely used after a full charge, how long will it last?

Just got this phone last month and I'm loving it. It may not have a dual core processor but it rocks. Just learn how to use this phone first before saying any negative stuff. It's more than what I expected it to be.
