Just like any smartphone, it has a lot of features and you end up tinkering a lot. It all boils down on how you use your phone.

AnonD-10882, 17 Aug 2011Is this phone good when it comes to gaming, browsing, camera quality.....how is the UI and does ... morethis phone is pretty good in gaming and browsing as it has got a powerful GPU also it supports adobe flash 10.1 (now 10.3 through update). Camera quality is OK if u compare it with 5MP range, no problem in there. HTC UI is the most beautiful and best UI in smartphones. Ya it definitely supports all games(single core) dats available in the market (Check out the GPU, its among the best for single core smartphones).
Video calling is possible through third party apps like skype( i personally m using skype for video calls).
Build quality is awesome as it has got aluminium unibody design (not plastic as that of samsung phones). It feels very nice to hold a smartphone dats got such good build quality.
It is definitely better than Nokia N8 in almost all specs except camera quality and battery back-up.
Popularity depends on lots of things. Many smartphone users doent know wat OS they are using, they are simply using a smartphone without knowing all its specs. Some like the name NOKIA as nokia got a lot a budget phones and is very popular in those segment but not in high end sengment. Also it totally depends on the users needs. so tell me ur requirements in a smartphone and will help u.

In response to point 2. The drag-down to answer option comes only on when your screen is locked. If the screens unlocked then you get the 2 buttons.
