To anyone who says the battery only lasts 6 hours, just charged it for only the 3rd time and its got 25% left after 2days and 10hours. And before anyone asks yes I do use it. 30mins calls per day, 50-60 texts per day, play some games, listen to music and read my kindle books but the secret is don't keep your wifi or internet connection on all day. Just bounce on and off when you need to. I'm well happy. Simples.

How am I going to update my phone with the newer version of Android? Or HTC sense ?
Just got my Desire S one week ago and I've never been happy as much as with the performance of this phone. It cover all my needs and I've tested it very hard without giving me any problems. I have to charge it everyday but I think its something normal with smartphones. +++ for Desire S :)

dear semashko, 19 Oct 2011desire S, desire HD, deisre Z ? opinions pls...Tough question buddy but will point out some differences and u make the choice.
Price difference is there because DHD got bigger screen and 8MP camera with dual-LED flash, while DS got smaller screen and 5MP camera with single flash. DZ also got same 5MP camera with single flash and same screen size as that of DS but got an extra physical querty keyboard. So obviously DHD will be a bit costlier than DS and DZ because of the upper mentioned benefits.
In other departments such as processor, chipset, GPU, Ram, etc etc both DHD and DS are same. But in the battery area DS got the upper hand as smaller screen consumes lesser battery. Also DHD got only Li-Ion 1230mAh while compared to DS which got Li-Ion 1450mAh. In this department DZ lacks in terms of processor speed and chipset model. DZ got only 800MHz processor and older Qualcomm chipset. So performance wise, DZ will lack when compared to DHD and DS though all the three handsets got the same GPU (i.e. Adreno 205 GPU)
NOTE: DS which got 1450mAh battery gives nearly 5-6hrs on heavy use. So probably DHD will give 3-4hrs max. But dont worry abt the battery issue that much as 3200mAh external batteries are available using which we can charge our handsets on the move.
