for all users that having problems like hanging- restart -lagging you have 2 do some steps to have a good performance on this device :-
1- 1-use a SD card and move your important apps to it and make the internal memory empty
2-download " clean master" from play store app and use it at least once a day
3- keep save all of your informations(phone book-accounts info...etc and reset you device "factory data reset"
ithink now every thing is ok ....enjoy

Its one of the horrible phones i have ever used.have been to the service centres at guwahati, bt all service engineers are unskilled.So dont go to these service centres with some hope.Its useless to trust htc again.

Using watsapp, Internet on Desire V is a pathetic and waste of time n money... It mere frustration. Watsaapp has to be installed every 15 days if u r lucky enough..

Waste of money! Touchscreen must be replaced at every 6 months (manufacturer problem). After 1 year of normal use, my ROM firmware is corrupted (no power), and 2 touchscreens changed. Slow processor, but good battery life for a dual sim. Nice design too.

Too much problems
1. If one network is being used for internet browsing then the other sim network goes off.
2. Mostly secondary sim is out of reach.
3. Switches off automatically for a dozen of times in a day.
4. Apps working Capability very slow like Turtle.
5. Temple run doesnt work.
6. Beats audio is a tremour on ears .

Its worst phone ever.... i m using this and i know this phone is waste of money,,, processing is very slow....day by day m facing a new problem in this phone... it was my wrong choice of buying this.

I am using this phone from July
2013. look is very nice than apple series. this 5 mp camera clarity excellent than apple, Samsung and Sony. operation is little slow. some applications r not working some time. otherwise very good phone. I satisfied with this.

u dont have to reinstall whtsapp
just go to gallery open a pic share it with contact
forward it with other
and u hav done
whatsapp will work ok
but.....
some msg never shows in chat
as it will appear on screen whtsapp will close

iT WORST EVER PHONEPURCHASED IN Oct12, faced all kind of problems hang, restart many times but worst happen yeaterday when it hang middle of a call and never switched ON, I rushed to service centre,the unskilled Ahmedabad Bhodekdev (TVSE service centre) fellow informed that the main board is dead and repair will cost arroud 8k( .HTC quality, service and response shows that BRand is sinking like Nokia and We should not buy ever these phones!!

Sachin, 10 Jan 2014Same problem.. wtsapp crashes again & agian & again & agian..... look wise awsmm... morealso the picture quality is worse than a 2MP camera of nokia2700.... video quality is ok ok,,, but pics are grainy.... speed is very very slow.. smtyms the fon hangs & the call dznt get cut

& agian..... look wise awsmm... speed is quite slow i've got replaced my headphones 3 times in 8 months. HTC looks awsmm but using it is a headache.... :/

my whatsapp keep on crashing most of the time. at first i thought that will be the problem with whatsapp applcation. now after discussing with friends and reading various reviews i came to the conclusion that its a phone problem. its the only problem i am facing with the phone else a good one.

I had this phone a year ago and I sold it because I was not satisfied. The video was weird and it turns on the display light by itself during idle. I bought this around 17,200 pesos last year. It would be better to buy a cherry mobile rather than this HTC desire V.
I do not recommend it...Failed

i receive messages but when i try reading those messages, whatsapp take me back to the home screen, i have uninstalled and re-installed whatsapp several number of times but the above mentioned problem still persists, tried changing my APN too, didnt prove of any help.then i came to know that it is very common issue in htc desire v.
