I have been use this cell since dec 2012.During the whole 1 period i faced spped issue,whts apps application not working and finally my mother board got crashed.please dont go this phone.hard ware quality worst.

I am using this phone for more than a year now. Its true that whatsapp doesnt work properly in this phone. I have to uninstall it every week. Also the phone is very slow & inefficient. HTC claims there is Beats audio but i dont see anything special in sound quality. The back cover is very plasticky & brittle & can break easily. Dont buy this phone. Now i am repenting my decision of buying an HTC.

Started using this phone in August 2013 and it was great & was enjoying all its features. And then just this morning it crushed, barely 5 months in. At the beginning it would restart all by itself but then that stopped and probably that was the beginning of its end. Please do not buy HTC Desire V. Not sure about other models. My friend's HTC Desire V also crushed & I wish I'd waited a little bit longer before purchasing this phone coz I bought it before his crushed. Mine is still under warranty so am waiting to hear what they will say.

wifi direct is not working and there is no send option in gallery to send files ..plzzzzzzz help otherwise this phone is Okk..:-)

know the secret of android.. usually to speed it up even its low spec you need to..
1. turn off unused feature or settings that drains battery
2. disable google apps you dont use that runs in background it drains battery and ram.
3. disable bloatware apps from htc or unused htc apps..
4. use du battery saver pro.. do optimize.. and auto kill apps every 5 mins.. my battery last a day and a half with moderate use..
my phone just hanged once and slight hiccups playing candy crush

I sent an email to HTC support team and they confirmed that, HTC desire V will not get OS upgrade. They said that generally device with 512MB RAM will not be eligible for OS upgrade.. But Google says Android KitKat OS ( 4.4 ) can run on 512 MN RAM device. I lost faith in HTC brand ..

Its Worsted Phone ever, i hate this phone but unfortunately m using this, all time its get hanged, its totally money wasting cell phone, finally im going to buy new phone and after buying this phone i haven't trust on htc....

nice. bought mine for 4k+ . slight hiccups but does not hang nor reboot. low spec but i love the cuteness.
