Efren, 09 Dec 2012I just want to confirm if this phone really a european tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 as stated in... moreI bought a Desire V T328w yesterday and the specifications on the box say:
Network
HSPA/UMTS Dual band (900/2100 MHz)
GSM/GPRS/EDGE
Quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
Dual SIM: HSPA (3G) + EDGE (GSM)
However, I don't know how to check whether the 850 MHz support is really there without going somewhere which uses 850 MHz.
chris , 09 Dec 2012Depends how strong your network relays outside the city friend! I just want to confirm if this phone really a european tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 as stated in the specs in this site. Outside city proper or rural areas in the USA uses GSM frequency 850. But if it works, it means it is a quad-band as stated before during its launch.
this phone is good overall but it do not support 720p resolution video ..............

I need a help.
After using SIM2 (incoming or outgoing call) the phone loses data connection (SIM1) - no net available.
I've tried to reset the phone, but no improvment is sensible.
Updated the softver without any success.
Do you have any idea what should I do?
Thanx...
Efren, 08 Dec 2012Does anybody use this phone in the United States or Canada? Does it work outside city proper?Depends how strong your network relays outside the city friend!
Hi guys...
I got my htc desire v 6 months back...
Worked well for me...dont keep installed apps in memory card..have it in internal memory..thats what it is for..the phone will run smooth...people who complain the phone is slow is cause they have a slow memory card and where they dump in all the apps..
I like the phone, the screen has a nice tint & gloss that I simply love and would recommend you..!!
Does anybody use this phone in the United States or Canada? Does it work outside city proper?

There is no harm in supporting whatever brands we like and it would be nice if people could really start using them and not overload the phones with the maximum number of apps and say it does not work, every instrument has its limitations that is what we have to understand and lastly we have to compare an apple to an apple and not otherwise.
Anonymous, 06 Dec 2012I want thinking to buy HTC DESIRE V,want to know if buying dis cell is the right choice
noo it is the wrong choice...its a worst phone i have ever seen.....touch sensitivity is very very less like china phone...
The Samsung S Duos hangs like Hell even after having a 768 Ram which is higher than HTC Desire V, but still Desire V runs better with a slight lag, so my verdict is in favour of Desire V>
Anonymous, 06 Dec 2012I want thinking to buy HTC DESIRE V,want to know if buying dis cell is the right choice nope! i've sold my 3 weeks old htc desire v. it has so many software issues. Instead I bought a samsung Galaxy S3 mini.... And I never look back... Happier Indeed! :)
I have been using this phone for some time.
There are so many problems in this phone.
1. The HTC sense language input crashes or malfunctions. I always get an error message to report the problem.
2. If an update runs in the background , the system becomes slow. Like slow keyboard typing. I'm facing this right now as I type.
3. If you use WiFi, 2G or 3G services, the phone heats up rapidly and it will be irritating tp hold the phone.
4. And yes. If you are on call on the first sim. The second sim deactivates.
5. This phone is not the greatest phones. There are other better options.
I hope this helps some one.
