My HTC desire X gets heated whoever I use it. The temperature of battery is shown always near or above 39°c. Is that normal?

I've also played gta vice city too, worked like a charm.. and regarding the battry life, it depends on your usage, on an average I get 10 hrs of battry life. as I Do a lot of net surfing.

bipasa, 18 Jun 2013I do the factory reset to follow your word.but still faced the problem...now all multimedia fi... moreafter factory reset...play store needs sometime to update itself...just keep on trying to download...may b cancel download again try downloading...also open playstore in computer and login with ur gmail account. send any download to your phone thru your system(playstore in system). may b it works...even i faced same prob for a day..its all good now

Anoop, 18 Jun 2013During the update MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON UNINTERUPPTED Connection - Wifi or 3G which ever it is.... moreI do the factory reset to follow your word.but still faced the problem...now all multimedia files ,pdf files downloaded smoothly.but the apps from google play store cannot run...the notification bar do not show the progress of the apps download from play store only...only the apps from google play store cannot be downloaded by my htc desire x....i think i have a software problem....please help me...and tell me the address & mob no.of some htc customer care in kolkata,india if u know....so please help me to do this....please...@ anoop

If you have not done the factory rest after upgrade, please factory rest on the phone.
To do factory reset, press and hold volume down and power together until the phone display turns off completely. Once you release the buttons after black out, you will be taken to a menu where you can navigate to 'Factory Reset ' option using volume down key. Once this option is selected, hit power button once to initiate factory rest. Wait until the phone shows up the lock screen.
Go to settings and make sure your phone got upgraded
Android Version: 4.1.1
HTC Sense Version: 4+
Software Number: 2.22.720.6
HTC SDK API Level: 4.65
After this you phone should behave normally.
You will need to re-download all the applications after the update.
