- audio went from good to u... moredamn if only I'd seen your post half a day ago :(
I can confirm everything about the headset/headphone sounds has gone straight to hell.
so I wait for the next update and pray.

ans, 29 Mar 2013guyz i wanna buy htc desire(X OR V)THIS SUNDAY but am confused b/w sony xperia j and htc desir... moreWhen u go to buy pc first u look for processor same thing applied to here also,so buy device looking at processor capacity.u r ready to pay 15k,still u r comparing phones which cant record 720p.in my opinion u shold buy sony xperia go or sola,which r available in india around 13k.i hope this helps u.

Just updated to 4.1.1 from 4.0.4. and was unplesantly surpsised:
- audio went from good to unacceptable (like train station speakers, beats on is even worse). This is unacceptable and should be fixed by HTC update as soon as possible!
- logcat showing bunch of errors constantly, which is most likely draining battery to some point: thermal daemon fials to start (does this mean possible overheating?!), wakeup locks aquired all the time for no obvious reason
- slugish browser scrolling, not smooth as in 4.0.4
- maybe more issues, but just didn't get around to it yet
