Nathan Paul, 03 Jan 2013Yes, its a 70% sure to be available in Jelly Bean as personnel from HTC has confirmed it when ... moreThanks for the opinion dude, i appreciate it. Tell me something about the video playback. Can you play HD movies like 720p smoothly without lags or problem on your Desire X? Thank you!
Yes, its a 70% sure to be available in Jelly Bean as personnel from HTC has confirmed it when I bought this phone. I got it for P14,800 but you can have it as low as P14,000 (manufactured in China). I then chose the one manufactured in Taiwan.
As for the phone, no problem at all except for battery. It could have been better. With usage of internet, games and wifi, you have to recharge it again.
As for no front cam, quite disappointing but main cam is superb! Even in dark areas. The only problem will be with the eyes but nonetheless, a great quality.
As for video recording, it can shoot videos but who cares about the hd recording? Phones aren't supposed to be for video recording. As long as it has a great quality for pictures, then its okay.
MUCH MUCH BETTER than HTC One V. My mindset was to buy that phone but the HTC personnel said that it lags very much and experienced black out problems (shuts off and needed to be repaired)
Go for HTC Desire X. :)

AnonD-95202, 31 Dec 2012download MxPlayer and watch any 720 and 1080pno way.. u cant.. i tried 720 p videos in mx player. The video is ok, playing without any lags but sound is disturbed and not playing very well.. some times it is out of sync.. hope an update will resolve this issue..
AnonD-95762, 02 Jan 2013Cant say about the jelly bean update... the salesmen were very sure about the jelly bean updat... moreYes your right. Checking the specs for This phone, it seems to be the only 'Desire' that qualifies for jellybean as it has above the minimum requirements for it. Although aside from the ram, do we know what other requirements are needed ?
AnonD-86317, 01 Jan 2013is any one sure that Desire X will taste the jelly bean update?? thanks for answer ...Cant say about the jelly bean update... the salesmen were very sure about the jelly bean update but there is no tough confirmation from the HTC Company.. As u must hav seen there was a list leaked from htc regarding jelly bean updates n DX wasent there but yeah it has the hardware required..
Why would u go for this when samsung galaxy sadvance is avalible with much higher specs specially with the super amoled display...???
It's a value 4 money phone. Good speed for downloading, installing and commands. Camera is ok, but could be better. A big minus for the battery - if it is hardly use (games, music, wi-fi), may need recharging in less then 1 day.
As a conclusion, it is a preety damn good phone for about 200 Euros.
I am disapointed with front cam and hd videos.
this is the big problem with problem
is any one sure that Desire X will taste the jelly bean update?? thanks for answer ...

Varyar, 27 Dec 2012Battery Test 1: 3G On
Battery Stat - From 100% to 30%
Usage: 2hours 23 mins of calling
37... morei red ur tests result,so .. did you let the packet data on all the time when testing or wifi??
or you were connecting your phone to the internet only when browsing??
only 2 negatives, 1 and the biggest drawback is anything over 480P is not supported.
and 2nd (not so imp for me) lack of front camera.
otherwise its a nice phone with good looks. But i seriously wanted 720P playback, highly disappointed
AnonD-94856, 30 Dec 2012@Sam9teen did you try Xperia J, well that is one piece of shit, Desire X is flying compared to... moreby the i own a S3, and have tried Xperia J also, atleast it plays 720P with in 512 ram and single core processor.
HTC has better build quality and better looks though, but not doing justice to its hardware
