Build quality?htc is born to make best quality smartphones.
Yes Samsung discontinued s advance from India...only old stock available at some shops...they replaced it with galaxy s3 mini, which is pricier than desire x as well as the old s advance.

guys i own htc desire x and the phone is superb in design and functionin
no lag nothin .........the phone runs smoothly and i m njoyin temple run and subway surfer without any lag or hanging
the phone is slim and very light to use n it also gives a rich look in hand as compared to samsung and s advances stands no wher in front of htc deisre x
till now i hav not faced any problems within last 2 days of purchasin the cell. also i did enough survey onilne before buyin this cell n everywhere the phone scored well....... so anyone having any question just ask me i wil hepl u out

HTC Desire X is the mid-range of smart phone, so how can it be the same other higher software and hardware smart phones, but for me I can say this one is amazing with camera snapshot and beat audio build in...... It's price is fit to it's OS and if U need the other more than this You also have to add more cash, this one is perfect it's true. Try it if U all don't believe!

The only funny thing is that its design is a duplicate of HTC DESIRE V but the DESIRE X is better in every way and cheaper than the DESIRE V hahahaha
