johnk100, 22 Sep 2010wish there more decent phones like this and the Desire HD that were UMTS 850 for NZTelecom lover eh?
Well, I know this thing is going to T-Mobile as their new G2 decive. I live in the states so it's nice to finally see some of these high powered phones come here for a change. My only thing is that knowing T-Mobile they'll do all they can to hide the fact that HTC built this thing for them. I finally got to check out the Sense UI and it is amazing. So much better then just raw Andriod. Any idea if T-Mobile will keep the Sense UI or if they don't is there away to put it on a device like this if it comes without it?
wish there more decent phones like this and the Desire HD that were UMTS 850 for NZ
Hey guys I'm thinking of gifting Desire to someone. So need an honest opinion on this phone. I already have an Xperia X10 and have owned Google Nexus 1..so not new to Android...what I'm looking for is the battery life with push email activated all the time...and how is HTC's service fairing in India...coz its hard to find their service center anywhere near, not that I actually went out to look for one but Nokia,SE service center's are clearly visible on the street wherever you go.
in the 3G part of the HTC Desire Z, it is written : 3G HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 2 Mbps
the correct speeds are :
* Up to 14.4 Mbps download speed
* Up to 5.76 Mbps upload speed

So you'll have to wait a bit longer and have a FOR SURE US version.
i checked the htc uk website. the 3g network is 900/2100 not 1900/2100. if it's 1900/2100 would be great because i can use it in the u.s. can anyone confirm it?
