why is in the rumor mill it is already out in the states
Can you guys add some pictures?
No worries non-US people, this is practically a 1:1 clone of the HTC Desire, which has been available globally for months.
how does it cost ?
I just got this thing yesterday, so it's definatly not a rumor, and the name fits its nicely. This thing is incredible. then again I am going from a blackberry to android so that may be one thing, but I love this thing
The phone is indeed released on the Verizon network in the US. You should be updating the phone status.

I'm pretty sure this phone is already out, I've got 3 friends who've got it any they love it. I'm trying to hold with for a Android based phone with an amazing camera. That Nokia N8 would be perfect, if it ran on Android. I've never really like the Symbian platform, rebuilt or not

Already got released for Verizon, it is a CDMA phone, and this site needs to update a bit more often if its going to be relevant.
Have a question...is this phone quad band or dual band gsm?
I do hope that they put this phone on the list as it has already come out. This is a great phone hope they do a review of it too...
Acording to Verizon the phone is not QuadBand as you say is DualBand and only CDMA
There is another way. I am going to see if i can order it from abroad and if this phone can be unlocked. And htc might reconsidere it's market strategy realizing that confining both incredible and evo on one continent might strenghten their position in america but with the the emergence of new well equipped handsets like the samsung galaxy s and nokia n8 they would lose in all the other parts of the world.
Well I guess all the non-us ppl will ignore this phone from now on ...
Sorry to say but HTC really sucks with their market strategies!! Here is the reply I got from them when asking about the Evo 4g:
"[...]The device is branded an only made for Sprint in the USA. If a similar device will be released to the European market I don’t have any information about. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us again. Regards Adiam HTC"
Yes the evo will be released this summer june or july for spring. Maybe htc believes that the united states have recovered after the economic crisis but in the rest of the world there aren't to many that can afford it.
