            Reguarding the
This is not a GSM phone, it will not work on any GSM network worldwide.

            General 2G Network CDMA 800 / 1900
            3G Network CDMA2000 1xEV-DO

i see CDMA 800/1900 which the Gsm networks use well the 800/1900 part
so my question: is there really no hope for customers who only have a GSM network in there country???

hi to all! I understand that you have experience how fast the battery life of the evo drains out. The reason for this is the phone is run under 4G network. The phone needs to be connected all the time to the towers that eat up the battery of the phone. If you check the phone can be run under both 3G and 4G network if you are in the area where both network is available there is a bigger chance that battery will be drained faster than you thought because at this point the phone needs to be connected on both towers 3G and 4G.. Always remember that the faster the network the shorter the battery life..in this case i recommend that you buy a spare battery..the fine works perfectly and it is really beneficial for you specially if you really need to have a fast connection..i almost forgot that 3G and 4G is not only applied to your internet speed..it is also applied to your sms receive/send and call receive/snd

Anonymous, 25 Sep 2010Hi all, I like this phone and i have a question about Is this phone can be use in any network?... moreThe EVO doesnt have a SIM slot, therefor it cannot be used outside the U.S. Some CDMA Blackberry's have SIM cards to use GSM carriers in another country. The EVO is limited to only CDMA carriers.
