Best Android phone. Ever. Best build quality and design (there has not been a phone more beautiful than Nexus One IMO), with a LED scroll ball which no one has copied yet. Even my dad said it, "there's nothing like the Nexus One." To me, this phone represents the time when Android was really OPEN unlike now and everyone customised the shit out of their phones. I flashed CM 7, 8, 9 on it. I didn't care when Google stopped giving updates to N1. I never thought about switching to another phone since I love it so much, but in 2012 I was forced to switch to Galaxy S3 when the phone became really too slow and the volume down button stopped working.
The Nexus One never dies. Evervolv 4.4 works perfectly on it and was even faster than iOS 7.1 on iPhone 4 - iPhone 4 was released half a year later than Nexus One.
recently i root and unlocked the phone and took benefit of Cyanogen.
Now it works pretty good and i can use it four more years!
worst mobile ever... hangs several times... switches off from time to time.. apps lost frequently .. hab to dl same app again n again.. simply acts weird everytime...
Buying this phone about 2 weeks ago. A second hand, but I almost satisfied. Especially for its simple yet elegant body. The one that I hate about this phone is for the small size capacity of its internal memory. Will using it until have money to buy second hand iphone 5s. Maybe next year or two years.
tannu, 24 Apr 2014my un lock button is not working plz tell me how its wrkmy google htc nexus one phone is not start only cyanomoed is rounf & the stop mobile
My Nexus One does not start up even with a fresh battery. All that happens is the flashing design. Any suggestions?. Thanks
Excellent phone, with a custom ROM, you can get 4.4 Android. It's alive
Wonderful phone. Still I'm using smoothly with latest rom.
Camera Quality is good.
Recently It fell from over 10 feet, and the screen glass scratch at the corner.
Unfortunately its expired from google.
A great phone unfortunately with one fatal flaw in some batches that where manufactured early on had dysfunctional screens that caused multitouch problems when the phone would get warm. This would cause finger touches to be misinterpreted by the device on a hardware level. One way to help combat the issue was to use a HTC based keyboard but it did not fully resolve the problems. It still crops up every now and then. Even though it is seldom it is enough to drive you insane.
Still a good phone for occasional user or app testers.
