bboystylo, 25 Jan 2011um i have been to the htc website, thats how i got the 707.3 romso you have to 2 ROMs i told you to get?
bboystylo, 25 Jan 2011and also i dont know wat the 7zip is for7-Zip is a decompression program for your PC (like winzip or winRAR) but it can decompress files that were compressed in “.7z” format as well.
It adds it’s self to your right click menu for easy use.
I have asked you many times before…. Have you ever flashed a ROM using the SD card method? And I never got an answer. I hope that no answer means YES, because if you mess that up. You are going to be on your own. For not letting me know you needed help with that.
By the way, how did you install the SD card version of Android that was compressed in a “.7z” format if you don’t have 7-zip installed on your PC?
bboystylo, 25 Jan 2011on my fone it says rom version is 3.14.707.3 (04666) wee. i went to http://forum.xda-developer... moreDon’t you think to get an original ROM to download; you should start by looking at the manufacture web site first??????? Which is HTC, not XDA. XDA didn’t make the HD2.
The fact that you have not gone to the HTC site I now know you never even read your user manual or install any bug fixes because that is where you have to get it for download. You don’t know half the things you can do on your HD2 till you read the full manual, but you going to get rid of winMo before you ever gave the manual a read, (too bad)... the quick start guide in the box is a joke.
Note: when you ask me for help it’s important that you read what I tell you. And try to do it, or if you don’t understand something don’t pretend that you do, just explain what you don’t understand.
I know you have not been reading all the post I have been sending to you, or you have not been trying them because I told you before that you X.XX.707.X ROM is a Asia Pacific ROM. you have to go to HTC web page and from “Select Country” pick “Asia Pacific” then go to Support to get the two ROMs you need.
Anthony, 25 Jan 2011a rom made for your phone by htc (not a modified rom). that is what i mean by "original&q... moreon my fone it says rom version is 3.14.707.3 (04666) wee. i went to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283 and im not sure what to do as theres no rom ending with ~~~.707.3

Just running WP7 rom on my HTC HD2 for the 1st time ...

> Calls are clears and good and stable
> Data (3G) is connecting and am browsing now
> Have been able to sync ONLY my gmail (email) and WITHOUT contacts yet.
> Will check out the wifi connection, music and video play later.
Great work DFT!!!
[deleted post]No that is not all you need.
And that does not look like the page I told you to read.
Did you read the post dated. 2011-01-02 04:15 ?
The full list of what you need and how I did it is there.
Replace my ROMs with your phone version of 3.14.xxx.x & 1.66.xxx.x
And add “Windows mobile device center” to that list.
Have you ever flash an original ROM using the SD card method?

Anthony, 25 Jan 2011When you first started talking about wanting to install an NAND ROM. I asked you what ROM you ... morehey, my problem is i dono how to downgrade hspl as there were no specification on how to do it on ur post
bboystylo, 25 Jan 2011hi anthony when im trying to flash the hspl3 it failed cause i dont have the original spl 1.42... moreWhen you first started talking about wanting to install an NAND ROM. I asked you what ROM you had.
When you told me you have a 3.14 ROM, I told you of one of my past post to read which explained what you had to get and what you had to do, I even stated why you had to do some of it. I also gave a link for a web page to read. And told you after reading if there was anything you did not understand just ask but take the time to explain what you don’t understand….
Do you remember any of this?
Now answer this question.
Did you ever take the time to read what I told you to read?
Did you get everything from the list I said you had to get?
Installing a NAND ROM is no game. If you half ass it you will brick your phone.
Go back and read what I told you. And ask questions about what you don’t understand and what you don’t know how to do and I will help then. Not before.
hi anthony when im trying to flash the hspl3 it failed cause i dont have the original spl 1.42, how can i get that? thanks
jr, 24 Jan 2011yo guy I didn't know i was getting a clone I ordered it ofline as a geuine but when I got it I... moreWORLDPHONE VERSION that is what they trying to feed you??? LOL
All HTC HD2 phone have quad band 2G. That makes every last one of them world phones.
Even the provider branded HD2 that are SIM locked are world phones you just have to ask your provider to unlock it when you need to travel (no hacking needed)
Some common ways to know your HD2 is a fake.
1. it came with a stylus
2. it’s not running windows mobile 6.5
3. Your ROM # can’t be found in “software information” or the # is not one that HTC uses. (and you know you did not hack your phone.)
4. when it is off and you hold the “volume down” key and turn it on, it does not go to the boot loader and show you your digitally signed (HTC original) SPL
5. One of the screws under the battery cover does not have a cap with the word meaning “Void” written on it.
6. The battery cover is not made of metal
7. You don’t have the 3 car kit terminals left of the SIM card slot.
8. The screen is not glass
9. You don’t have 5 physical keys at the bottom of the phone.
10. There is no light and proximity sensor to the left of the front speaker.
If any of the above applies to you. You don’t have and original HTC HD2.
And if you don’t have an original don’t expect it to work like an original.
Anthony, 24 Jan 2011dude what planet you from? a clone can never ever ever EVER! be the same as an original. stop... moreyo guy I didn't know i was getting a clone I ordered it ofline as a geuine but when I got it I had someone tell me it was a clone so I contaced my seller and they still say it's not a clone it's a WORLDPHONE VERSION.
