this is my answer you your e-mail .cab question.
Installing programs on a HD2 is not just about having the file in a .CAB format.
(.exe .msi . jar .cab) will all install on a HD2
BUT the installation file/s itself must compatible with Windows Mobile 6.5 OS (touch-screen phone edition) and must be able to faction on a WVGA screen.
I don’t do programming so I can’t help you with porting a program made for one OS over to a next OS.

digital love, 13 Jan 2011thnxxx bro, just want 2 inform u dat earlier i had installd cht v2, but didnt like it coz it w... more CHT V2 final is good. Just don’t use the CHT lock screen (keep that off). For some reason it makes the HD2 unstable. And that is a known problem for some phones because it is mentioned in the CHT user manual.
“Better” is not a word I would use to compare Android and Windows Mobile.
Because I think they are both really good in there own way.
But because of my software needs I prefer Windows Mobile. But I do use Android (SD card version) on my HD2 because Skyfire no longer works in my region. And Android has “flash 10.1”
As for the link I give for android is works… go back to it and if rapidshare don’t work for you try the “MegaUpload” option from the list below.
Instructions to what to do with the download is on the site but if you need me to break it down I will, once you are willing to follow instructions and properly explain what ever you don’t understand.

[deleted post]Below is a list of visual tweaks you can get from the link below.
Install them one at a time and restart you phone after you install 1, so you can see what it did.
Touch X 50 percent opaque calendar TAB background
Touch X contact background 50 percent opaque
Touch X internet background 50 percent opaque
Touch X music tab controls transparent background
Touch X remove top curtain
Touch X transparent search in internet tab
Touch X Transparent slider.
Note: I named them as they are because there are many with very similar names so look closely at what you are clicking on.
when you are done with this list let me know so you can get more
digital love, 13 Jan 2011plzzz help anthony, i hav hd2 & also installd coockie home tab long back, its previous vet... moreI just want to start by first saying that CHTEditor V 2 is correct in giving you that error.
The reason for this is….. as of 13-01-2011 as far as I know, there is no such thing as CHT 2.5. The most up-to-date version is CHT V2. and at all times your CHT version and CHTEditor version must (ALWAYS) match.
You must be looking at your Sense UI version or you have CHT V1.5 not 2.5
“What is CHTEditor for?”
If you go back to the post where I gave “Nik” the link to get CHT V2 and read on that page.
You will notice that there is a section where it has a very long list of registry settings. That can be used to change the look of different things in CHT. But not every body likes to use a registry editor and play-around with settings. So a CHTEditor was made as an add-on for CHT to give ALL the settings a User Interface.
Hope that helped.
plzzz help anthony, i hav hd2 & also installd coockie home tab long back, its previous vetsion to cht 2.5, recently i installed cht editor version 2.0, when i start the app i get error msg, coockie home tab is not installd on ur device, ensure dat coockie home tab is instlld & workin fine before running cht editor...
can u also tell me wats d use of cht editor?
After installing Andriid 2.2.1 im very happy with the
Phone much faster and stable
When you have picked your wall paper and change the settings & quicklinks in CHT to make it just the way you like for work. You may want a different look for the weekend or when you are not in work, which will have different settings.
From your home page if you go to Menu>CHTEditor>Menu> you will see the option to export your settings. By exporting your settings you can come back to those same settings again just by importing the settings.
So what i was saying is… you can have more than one look and switch between them as you like. Just by exporting the different styles you come up with. Do you understand now?
