donnarose, 06 Jan 2011ok anthony,i had off all the data connections in the data controller, please be patient of cour... moreI will help you install Android on your HD2 as a dual boot. But only after you have done the tweaks to optimize your HD2 with windows mobile.
Next on the list is to install a task manager.
What you may not know is, when you start a program it does not close when you press the “X”.
It just goes to the background and continues to run and use memory.
To solve this, use Omarket to find and install “MMTaskManager” once installed lunch it and tap on “meun>settings…” uncheck all the boxes and just keep “Close on X Button” on. You can also keep “Long press send key” on as well if you like.
Let me know when you have done that so you can move on to the next thing.
Or just go to is link below and install Android without my help.

mikeysho, 06 Jan 2011pls Anthony i need your help, since i installed this Android on my HD2, its draining my batter... moreAndroid is known to be a battery HUG. No matter what you do, it will always burn power faster than Windows mobile.
All you can do to gain back some time is…
1. go to settings>Wireless & networks and turn off. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, portable Wi-Fi, Mobile network (when not using)
2. Then go to settings>location and turn off everything.
3. Then go to settings>Power saver and turn on everything.
To stop apps in Android I use advanced Task Cleaner 2”
mikeysho, 06 Jan 2011pls Anthony i need your help, since i installed this Android on my HD2, its draining my batter... moreAndroid will drain your battery.... In fact the HD2 is powerhouse phone which needs juice... To solve this issue you'll need a high capacity batter or an extra battery... That's what I did to get around the Android drain problem.... Win will drain battery too.... The battery technology hasn't caught up to the phones yet.... Will see with the new OS releases by Android, WP7, etc.................
Kinda disapointed in HTC (@ CES) phones so far... Would've liked to see a WOW super phone....... LG and Sony phones are looking GREAT so far..... HTC needs to get with it...........
Besides my next purch will be a Android Tab... They seem to offer alot more than a phone can right now...
Will your next purchase be a phone or Android Tablet????????
pls Anthony i need your help, since i installed this Android on my HD2, its draining my battery, in short, tell me what to do to save my battery, how to download into my sd card, and how to stop all the app running behind on the phone. i have try task manager but its not working. pls i just needed the best apps for them.my battery only last for two to three hours a day. thanks

what do you need help with?
don't beg for some one that dose not even try to help them self.
Anonymous, 06 Jan 2011anyway if you dont want to help me,maybe i can ask for a link where i can install both android... moreIf you have NO data plan you still have to use “data controller” to turn off the “Auto ON” for SIM data. That way the phone will stop looking for a data plan that you DON’T HAVE. and you will stop getting the error. The phone will now know to never look at the sim for data, only look for wi-Fi. Don’t you get it? Data plan or not it’s an important program that should have been built into the phone software and it was not. But thanks to 3rd party software you can put it in your self. Using XT Hack Beta2 to can tell your Wi-Fi not to sleep when your screen turns off. That why you will never lose the connection every time your phone screen sleeps. (but that will burn more battery power) I never got to that part before because I could not even get you to do the first part of installing "Data controller".
I also gave you a list of things to get to change ROMs. And you did not do that as well. How many things from that list did you download?
i told you just ask me for any you could not find, did you do that? NO.....
More than half of those things you still need if you want Android. But did you take me no then? NO…..
If you not going to help the situation by following instructions no one could help you.
I’m a helpful person but you are like a harden child.
And just like a harden child, you want to “burn to learn”. You just can’t take advice from someone that has bean using the OS for years and the HD2 or over a year.
Anthony...pls shw little mre patience to all. U r gud @ Wm n Its related stuffs,Appeciate tht. Bt thts nt the license to make fun n consider others dest knw nythng.
We may b bit back at the stuff u do here as we r new to this Hd2 stuffs.
So pls bro...

donnarose, 06 Jan 2011no i didnt install the data controller, but i noticed its my WIFI connection is the problem,but... moreYes android can be installed on your HD2.
But so far you have been a pain when in comes to following instructions.
Simple instructions you don’t follow which makes me have no confidence that you will follow more advice ones.
Give me one good reason why you did not install the “data controller” when I told you that was the way to stop the GPRS error?
If you don’t follow instruction for changing your ROM, to the “T”, you will BRICK your phone. And all you will have is an expensive paper weight. That’s why I’m not helping you to change your ROM to Android. If you want to do it on your own. Go look it up on the XDA web site.

Samer, 06 Jan 2011how can i install android in HTC HD2 ????Do you want your phone dual boot Android & Windows or do you want to replace windows with Android?
donnarose, 06 Jan 2011thanks sam,but do you know why my WIFI is always automatic ON.i mean i switch it OFF and then ... moreWi-Fi can’t “Auto turn ON” on a HD2 the switch has to be manually turned OFF or ON from “Wireless Controls” when ON it will sleep when your screen is sleeping (and that can be changed in settings)
Only SIM data can auto turn ON. And that is one of these (GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, or HSUPA) there is no Wi-Fi for a SIM.
So what madness are you talking about?
To disable the SIM data, I told you to install “data controller” did you do it?
I told you to give me the name of the switches you see in it so I can tell you which ones to turn off, did you do that? NO
Why do bother to ask for help when you don’t follow advice?
