Is this battery a little bit bulky compare to the original one? I just want to double check.
Alex, 06 Apr 2010Dear Anthony,
By rumor i meant what ppl say like, the screen on Diamond2 or the original HD a... moreWay better in what way?
Both are 65k colors
Both are 480x 800 pixels
The HD2 is glass the HD is soft easy to scratch plastic.
HD2 has bigger screen (better for reading text and using fingers)
You have to press on the HD to get a response you just have to touch the HD2.
And if you are one of those that really believe you need a stylus to use win mo, there is a stylus you can buy for the HD2. I did not even use the stylus on the HD when I started using the cooked leo ROM on it, so I donít know why I would need a stylus on the HD2 that has the bigger screen.
The only thing I could do on the HD with the Leo ROM that i canít Do on the HD2 Screen isÖ use it with wet hands. Is that what they are talking about when they say the HD screen is way better?
Anonymous, 05 Apr 2010HD2 is definitely the way to go!
ROM and RAM is more than enough.
With WM, you can manag... moreDear Anthony,
Thank you very very much for helping me out to decide which phone I should go for. I had O2 XDA II mini. It gave me a lot of troubles and when I bought it, was damn expensive.
However, I hope this time I won't have such major problems which made me bore with O2 mini.
Thanx a lot once again for finding time to answer my query.
Take care & have a great time.
Syrus, 06 Apr 2010Sorry I did not see your reply. The reason I am asking about re-flashing rom is......I think I... moreYou can but you donít need to.
The ROM is already on the phone.
Flashing from the PC is only to get it on the phone.
Once it is there, when you have problems all you need to do is what I would call a true Hard reset/factory reset.
And I gave the instructions on how to do that in that same post.
Iím not stopping you from flashing with hspl. Iím just saying you donít need to do it.
What method did you use the flash the first time? I donít remember
Gold card, sspl, hspl?
By rumor i meant what ppl say like, the screen on Diamond2 or the original HD are way better than the one found on HD2.is it really right?
n thank u SO much for caring about ppl's questions and issues :)
Anthony, 06 Apr 2010I did answer you.
look for the post with Time stamp 2010-04-05-14:40Sorry I did not see your reply. The reason I am asking about re-flashing rom is......I think I did not flash 1.66 properly earlier. I use win7 and got message at the completion of flashing...."this program may not be installed properly". I just ignored this message as everything was working smoothly.
So accd to you ..I can not re-flash 1.66 rom? Hard-reset will fix it? Thanks
it's a very good phone and it's screen is very good for navigarion like Garmin or so...
Alex, 06 Apr 2010hello Anthony,
do u believe that theres a windows mobile out there to outperform this?
is th... moreIn my opinion the only win mo phone that can beat the international HD2 (TODAY, not in the future) is the US HD2.
What rumor are you talking about concerning the screen?
The build quality of the HD2 is better than the original HD in EVERY way.
1. I donít like the 5 keys at the bottom, it should have been a touch surface like the first HD.
2. I donít like that I canít use the touch screen properly when my hands are wet.
3. And I have a bad habit from using the first HD of wanting to press the power button when Iím in a call to turn off the screen. But in the HD2 you donít have to do that and I end up hanging up on the call. (So for me I would like if the power key and the hang-up key was not the same key :-))
The only think I would really like from a next phone to be on this phone. Is AMOLED for its brightness. The screen is dull when in direct sunlight, just like the first HD.
Here's a nice cab to change your start (honeycomb screen) to windows list screen (like windows OS)....
Here's the link:
I like this better... There's also a sort cab as well on the page.....

For the clock flipping thing, I dunno because I use SPB Shell. Anthony might know.
Does anyone know where to get the cab to add the dual clocks (Flip and analog, analog & analog, digital & analog, etc)???? Also a cab to change the colors of the icons on the top (Wifi, battery, sound, etc..)??? I just want cab's not a cab that will change my whole phone theme..??? All I was able to find was theme's to change phone...????
Anonymous, 06 Apr 2010I smell trouble when an OS is set not to turn off. That's my 2 cents.I'll change my ROM at some point.. Just don't want to do it now.... Busyy right now..........

I am supposed to receive the exact same one this week.
Transformer, 06 Apr 2010High tech . still cooking rom ? I still stick to miri 4.1 and install more than 20 apps. still... moreYes... Had to because I had the problem with the phone not turning off... Still not turning off, but I don't turn my phone off any way... I think the problem is with the Energy ROM I have on my HD2 now.... The ROM is quit nice... Comes with tons of app's, so I really don't need to install much... Only thing I'm missing is Cookies app... When I install with the Energy ROM it doesn't work right... The Energy ROM is using WM6.5.5 OS... I kinda of like that OS.......
Ark, 06 Apr 2010High Tech whats your opinion about this battery from Hong Kong. check here. at clove.co.uk ... moreI would go with the Clove battery... It's the same price as the Hong Kong battery... Besides, Clove is a HTC partner, so you will get a battery made for the HD2 from them... Not from a Hong Kong company who duplicates the same product.... If I get one I plan to buy from Clove.... Only thing your saving from Hong Kong is free shipping....
