my first HTC and its gr8 had problem initially, but then got official update and everything was gra8 then. Its 2 yrs I have used android 2.3 (GB) and 4.0. Now I'm on wp7.5 Mango and the phone supports window 6.5 and meego i even use dual boot by far the best phone made
Anonymous, 12 Apr 2012is there an offical update to windows phone 7.5?This phone has been discontinued by HTC so they no longer have any kind of official upgrades or patches/hotfix of any kind for it. Last official ROM made was 3.14.xxx.x for WM6.5 and the only way to get that now is from a friend or XDA
If you want official buy a new phone.
If you want unofficial look on XDA.
Currently still the best device ever made. Esp for its ability to run so many OS, even make it dualboot! So much happy with it
The best fricken phone I ever had.
Bought it the day it was available and still using with Android GB ROM. Support is still running strong at XDADevelopers. ICS ROMs are in early stages of development available through XDA.
rehemo85, 06 Apr 2012can i update it to ice cream sandwich ?? and if yes.. HOW ??? It's a Windows Phone, not Android, you can't unless you use a Custom ROM

I think it's a very good phone. Sometimes it does freeze but what phone doesn't? My dad, my step mum and myself have had this phone and nothing bad has ever happened. Sometimes it can be a bit slow when trying to text. The qwerty keyboard for text is good, but often it presses the wrong letter, and comes up with the wrong word. The camera is excellent, the photos turn out amazing, and it has great focus. I would reccomend this phone to anyone.
The only downsides are phone calls drain the battery, and the battery life overall only lasts a day, but that is usual for phones now days. Also, the texting issue can be annoying, but not too bad. Can be a bit slow, and will freeze, but after a few seconds it will sort itself out.

ihav a little bit problem? i hered that instaling of android on hd2 make something problem. is it right?
I never buy HTC product again. I'v had enough with my HD2. It freesez no matter what. I tried everything, disabling Sense, disabling geo-location, disabling data communications, upgrading ROMs. Last resort was switching to Android. Yes, I liked Android, much superior OS then winmo ( I put CM7ite CyanogenMod android), but after installing and playing Angry Birds Space it freezed again.
I have had this phone for almost 2 years.
Very disappointed in HTC.
