Omar Alfarook , 19 Feb 2010hi , thanks for your reply ... my radio version is 2.06.51.07 and ROM version is 1.66.707.1 (7... moreomar i think you should try it wouldnt hurt, at best it could fix or change it for the better. here is a description of what the radio does to your phone
Radio (not to be confused with FM Radio, duh!) = The program engine that controls the wireless connections of your HD2, meaning phone signal reception (GSM), data connections (2G, 3G, GPRS, HSDPA...), navigation (GPS), wifi and bluetooth. It also controls sound and camera. It is part of official ROMs and is issued by HTC. Radio version must be compatible with OS to work properly. It subsequently changes (improve or worsen) your battery life. You can actually install a specific radio without installing a whole ROM. You will need to use HSPL first, of course. You'll find all official and leaked Radio for HD2 in this thread. It has also be proven here that installing the 2.06.50.4 or 2.07.50.27_2 Radios can somehow "unlock" the full use of 576 Mb or RAM, instead of standard 448 Mb. No other radio (older or newer) has that ability. Note that the radio has to be installed along with some patch on the ROM to make it work.

I've been using it now for a day or so and it's really nice. It's fast and smooth. You can use it on a daily basis with no problems. So far so good for me.... The only thing I noticed was a problem syncing. When U first set it up it sync's fine, but when U disconect and try to sync later it's slow to sync. It might take 10 or 15 min for it to sync, but it will sync. Sometimes I have to reset the HD2 with it hooked to my laptop for it to sync (no big deal. I don't sync everyday. Maybe every other day or so. Other than that it runs smooth for me. I'll stick with this one for now. I was using Touch It ROM which was good as well. The reason why I stuck with Dutty is for one I'm tired of setting up my phone after trying different ROM's, and also his ROM has a reg edit program built in.........
I say give this ROM a try....... You can also read a review of this ROM on HTCPedia wed site.... Enjoy the ROM............................................
JP, 19 Feb 2010i'm with you friend. virtual keypad is real joke! too fast and poor implementation on the cap ... moreI agree with you on some points. I hope HTC makes WM7 as an update for the HD2, because that's why I purchased it........ If they don't then I will look else where for my next WM7 phone...... Other players will have WM7 phones as well......... I do agree that in order to take full advantage of WM7, you will need a better phone spec wise. The HD2 spec's are GOOD, but as we all know, better phones than the HD2 is on the horizon (late 2010, 2011, and 2012)... I just want to try WM7 on the HD2 to get a feel for it, before I buy a new phone in 2011 or 2012?????? What else that gets me about WM7 is the non customization. That's big to me..............

Just installed new swype (For TMobile HD2) on my HD2, and it works very well. Just have to get use to using it though........ Is it me or is the T-Mobile HD2 way better app wise than the UK version of the HD2. They have alot more apps on the T-Mobile HD2. Every time you look up there's a new app for the TMO HD2..... I probably should've waited to purchase???????

The phone pretty good (on paper) but could be better when you're using it. At times its a bit slow in accessing SMS if you're looking to reply to someone so to get around this, you'll have to reply by opening up completely new message. In most applications you really see the power of the processer coming through. It's a great phone & really eye catching but its far from perfect but for now its probably one of the best phones on the market...
can somebody answer my question plz. I want to know if i can use this cellphone with 3G in USA?
Just installed S2U2 and anybody know how to get back to the original lock screen(windows lock screen)? thanksss
Hi Anthonny and Every Body,
So far I have been using Nokia Symbian for many third party application support and stability. Also my mobile usage in term of calling, SMS (typing), Audio(MP3), Voip and mails are exceptionally high. Can u pls suggest shall I buy HD2 or Nokia N900, as both phone support all these things, but I don't know which phone will be more convenient to operate heavely?
hi Anthony, you seem to be very knowledgeable in this area, do you know what the T in HTC stands for? sorry, i'm a bit of a phone geek and love to know these things!
i want this phone, but it has 3g 900/2100, i have a question, is it going to to work in usa?????

Bharpreet_India, 19 Feb 2010Hi Anthony, Hope all is fine at your end.
1) Is there any which way where i can hide/protec... moreWhen you sync with “outlook” & another backup program like “MyPhone, PIMbackup, windows live”
When your factory rest the phone and restore the backup and sync again with outlook, for some foolish reason all the outlook information doubles, triples, or more depending on how many times you reset. (Very dumb)
But it can be fixed…
After your have the mess on your phone…..
1. Sync with “Microsoft MyPhone” (myPhone will now have the info in the same way.
2. log into “Microsoft MyPhone” from your PC
3. once you are in, pick the category that has the duplicates e.g. “contacts”
4. above click “find Duplicates”
5. if it finds any click “select all instances” then click “Delete”
6. when you are finish removing duplicates from all categories “sign out”
7. On your phone sync with “Microsoft MyPhone” again to cleanup the phone.
8. Then sync with “outlook” to let the phone cleanup “outlook”.
