Aru, 16 Feb 2010check this link for differences between 6.5.0 ,6.5.3 and winmo 7 series.
http://pocketnow.c... moreThe chart in the link is misleading. It does not take into consideration that all windows mobile 6.5.0 phones from HTC are running the HTC UI over the Windows 6.5.0 UI. (so the info is misleading)
HD2 comes with 6.5.0
Finger Friendly – yes
Multi-touch – yes
Capacitive touchscreen – yes
Stylus – does not have one out of the box (optional)
Touchscreen keyboard - Finger-friendly
Pane switching – taps & swipe
Social networking - tweeter and facebook built-in to the core of the sense UI

hey anthony, just wanted to ask u something. most of the time i have my ears plugged up listening to music while im on my laptop, and i cant even hear the msg alert on my hd2. and i rmb previously i set the new msg notification to show on screen or something, so at least the screen would light up n i would notice it. right now that doesnt happen anymore. there's the tone, but the screen wont light up. if i turn the screen on the msg notification would show on screen.. but i want the screen to light up, so even with my ears plugged up the huge screen would draw my attention towards it. please help if u can :) thanks

Just downloaded Bing for the mobile device, and I must say it's quite NICE on the HD2 (though it's not compatible with it right now, beta mode). It's quite impresive. You can speak what you want like movies, traffic, and it will populate what you say, and hit directions and it shows it. Try it....... I don't have the internet on my phone to try on the road, I use wifi at home and places like Barns & Noble to surf..... Someone try with internet, it's nice, and report back??????

Aru, 16 Feb 2010 Hi High Tech , Anthony
How many applications can you run on HD2 while playing music and we... moreWhat you should do is install a program called “qwertyMemory.exe” into your startup folder.
It will put a memory monitor in your task bar that way you will see at all times when your RAM needed to run programs is running low. So you can pick what you want to close from a task manager before the phone picks for you.
I never let my RAM drop below 20% so my phone has never closed anything i was still using.
I started doing this and using that RAM monitor when i was using my Win Mo 5 phone which was a Qtek s200
Because on that phone if RAM went under 15% the phone would Crash.
if you want the link to the program just let me know.
