it could also be a registry editor or tweak prog ur using. next time u flash ur devce, try to do the same thing before u install anything.
Blaine, 11 Jan 2010Hi all,
I'm planning to buy this phone. I checked some of the websites listed here for online... morewww.clove.co.uk is an authorized HTC dealer and they will ship the factory unlock version of this phone to you in the US with DHL international for $705.00 (shipping included in that price) with full warranty.
I got both my HD in 2008 and my HD2 Nov 2009 from them.
Because I donít live in the UK I didnít have to pay the vat price, so it will be the same for you.
But try it first in Dubai and see if you like it.
Blaine, 11 Jan 2010Hi all, I'm planning to buy this phone. I checked some of the websites listed here for online... moreto be honest sounds good to just go their and try it out anyways. you can always send it back then buy it here.
I'm planning to buy this phone. I checked some of the websites listed here for online order. The price is $903 in Dubai right now and I will be there in 2 weeks. But for example,at Plemix, the total price including the shipping and a 8GB memory card is around $755. I know that the obvious choice is to shop at Plemix and not in Dubai, but I also want to try the phone in my hand before buying. I don't know what to do...
Maybe its better to check out the phone in Dubai first and then buy it online considering the price...I've never bought a phone online, I don't know how it will turn out!

People can talk allot of things, the thing is can they back it up?
Did they show you the things on the 3gs that you know you need on a cell and canít get on a next brand/model?
Did demonstrate what makes it the best ever so you can see and know to your self I canít be beaten?
Anonymous, 10 Jan 2010shadi its really sad that you have to ask about hd2 over the iphone.....are you kidding me hd2... morei've already seen both, but i can't figure it out which one is better.one of my relatives has a mobilephone store and he almost knows everything about them.he told me that htc cell phones are much more useful, but, when i asked someone else,he told me that the iphone3gs is the best cellphone ever.i steal don't know what to do! :(
Ok this is what Iím look for so if any one runs across an app or driver that can let me do this please post the link.
I am a big fan of bluetooth stereo headsets.
That is what I use to listen to music on my phone.
But as you all know the radio canít work unless you plug in a corded headset.
And when a corded headset is plugged in it takes precedence over the bluetooth headset.
So what I want is a app/driver that will let me manual override where the audio goes so with the corded headset plugged in for the radio to work, I can still tell the sound to go the stereo bluetooth headset.
Anyone that knows a app or driver that would let me do that, please post the link.. It will be greatly appreciated.
I am currently using a G1 and am purchasing a HD2 today! the G1 is great and android is definitely a keeper. Build quality is nowhere near the par of the HD2 though. Android and customisability is great on a similar level with winmo customisation. ANdroid has a far superior market for apps etc and the qwerty keyboard on the G1 is one of the best. it is limited on ahrdware specs and ive near pushed it to max. Im using android 2.0.1 through a custom ROM. very fast. but HD2 is faster. I would definitely go for the HD2.
someone , 11 Jan 2010Anthony can I ask you a question? Have you used android? i am thinking of buying hd2 or SE x10... moreThe only Android phone I have actually held in my hand is the G1
And sad to say we could not get it setup with our local simís
Other than that what I know is what I read or see on the net.
It looks nice. But until I try one my self I canít really say.

1. got to
Pick your country then Operator
You may even want to use a wi-fi connection
Go in the menu that you see in here
Pick update Database
Pick Update the latest settings of all operators and tap Update Database.
2. the next way would be to
go in settings
And manually set it up from there (you would have to call your provider for the settings)

In reply to your MMS & SMS problem when you first put your sim card in the phone you should got a selection of networks come up, once you choose your network the phone will give you a choice of auto set-up or manual. If you choose manual then it should set your MMS & SMS settings.
If you remove your sim & put it back in & it doesnt do the above then try another sim just to clear its memory of yours then try it again. :o)
Anthony can I ask you a question? Have you used android? i am thinking of buying hd2 or SE x10 i have used winmo but never tried android and i wonder which one you would offer me as a better? I've used hd2 for a quite some time (friends phones) and i am pretty amazed with the work made by HTC. Whats your oppinion on this one ? :)) thanks if you don't actually know or don't want to comment its not a problem :)
