Mat, 17 Nov 2009Hi i hope someone can help.
I am going to get this phone or the SE Satio....basically this lo... morei would recomment u to get the nokia n86, nokia n86 is a great multimedia phone with lens cover, it have better battery life, ALMOED screen, better wide angle images and video recording, go to buy.com and they r selling it for 395 dollars plus free shipping, this htc hd2 got no lens cover and if u rerord videos with such a larger screen, the battery dies quickly. Sony satio is a great phone, but 3.5 screen with only 1000mha battery is still unacceptable, some people complaints about the satio that made of plastic and feels cheap,it hangs alot and its cost 670 to 700 dollars now that is too much for a piece of crap phone. and plus this disadvantages:
* Xenon flash is not adequately powerful
* The S60 5th edition UI isn't to the best in class standards
* No 3.5mm audio jack or a standard USB port
* No DivX or XviD support out-of-the-box
* No smart or voice dialing
* Playing flash videos in the browser easily depletes the available RAM
* No office document editing (without a paid upgrade)
* No stereo speakers
* No digital compass (magnetometer)
so i think the nokia n86 is the best phone that suits ur needs now
Hi i hope someone can help.
I am going to get this phone or the SE Satio....basically this looks to be the better phone however i use my phone to record videos at Concerts a lot...the quality on Sony phones is great and the sounds is brilliant, no distortion fromt he loud music...im worried if i buy this phone i may lose that quality....both phones show VGA 30fps so i guess the video is the same, but what about the Mic?...anyone taken a vid at a gig who can help?
Anonymous, 17 Nov 2009Does it use a sim card? Would it be a bad idea to order from the link provided on this page co... moreWhy do you ask if it use a sim card? is there a GSM phone out there that does not use a sim card?
and if you live in the UK this is the list of stores that HTC gave for the UK.
Not having TV out on this device was a BIG oversight on HTC.... I can see not having front camera, not being used by everyone. TV out should've been included..........

Here's a link to the state of Windows Mobile going forward. I found it to be a good read, since people think WM is dead:
it was released on vodafone but only with a 1k units due back in on the 27th
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2009Thanks djk4363 where can I buy it in Dubai? sorry for the late reply. you can buy it with warranty anywhere and everywhere. i checked the old market by the creek and the retailers. everyone has it with warranty and at 3300. sharaf is as good a bet as anyone else. i am still trying to decide if i should sell my satio and get this beauty.
1 Ghz processor, 448 MB of RAM.
There is no reason for it to not be as fast as needed.
Have one at the moment (trial). It's really great, although a shame it does not pick up a stylus.
Sorry, I'm not too tech-savvy. Does anyone know whether the HTC HD2 is compatable with the 3G on Rogers or Fido in Canada?
Looks like a fabulous phone & a couple of outlets in the US are selling them but I want to make sure that all of the features will work up here.
