iPhone was dead along time ago ppl. The only thing that stood out about it was the capacitive and multi touch screen but all that is done with the new models such has this phone (except multi touch). Way better design and probably OS as well than the iPhone. iPhone is bull and I used one and got rid of it. Its out dated with hardware man!

make this ui available for samsung galaxy (i7500)
and I will buy it

forget Iphone - android is the future

can Iphone but widgets on the screen ?
is Iphone multitasking ? lol ui which isn't multitasking *rofl*
has Iphone just a 3mp camera?
has Iphone a OLED screen?

and that Iphone claims the multitouch as their own is a real good joke

there are now 3 brands which have multitouch
palm lg and htc and samsung will follow
no chance for iphone

Curve design not good in the pocket. Looks like a wireless desk top phone.
No camera flash.
If not curve design, it must be a good phone than htc Magic

just like the htc magic, the battery life is not going to be good, if it is really 1350

Still no Android phone with a decent camera (this one sucks, don't look for MP's), a radio, 16M colors (let alone 256k) and a secondary camera. They need to fix this.

But anyway, I don't want any company to read my private SMS, like Google "reads" what words you write in Gmails. They actually don't read it manually, but the search which words you use most commonly, and then those words amazingly appear in Google Ads for your IP adress. I hope Android isn't the same thing, but I strongly fear it is.

How many time should iPhone be killed by it's competitors?????!!!!!!
From HTC Touch till now they called them ...killer!!!
The strange point is that iPhone 3G-S has sold 1M in just 3 days recently.
Compared to other Killers (!!) this one is a better competitor.
528MHz does well with android (the same processor is wasted by WinMo in Diamond) and you can expect more here
Enough resolution (compared to 2 times pixel count in Diamond) releases some memory and processor resources for some probable applications.
(I believe Diamond's VGA display is wasted with 16bit color coding of winmo)
This one is a better balance (HVGA 3.2" 16bit)

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2009Great User Interface but Bad Form Factor... not a fan with curves. make ti just a straight ... morei second the motion.

Look at the

iPhone = great UI and Adorable & Gorgeous form Factor when combined: GREAT PHONE

HTC Hero = great and beautifully done UI, far better way better than the iPhone UI, but ugly design ugly form factor, not really ugly but not as gorgeous than the design of the iphone.

16m colors does make a difference however, it just makes the color look brighter, not really anything to do with clarity. This phone's browser also has full flash support (including online flash games and videos) which i think makes it really nice. I just hope the guys at xda-dev can port android, so i can get this sweet ui on my touch hd :]

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2009Also, the screen is just 65K as opposed to 16million colour screen of the iphone..That's a hug... moreactually no its not. you are clearly into all the hype. the human eye cant really distinguish SIGNIFICANTLY between 65k and 16 mil. its honestly not that big of a deal...

Some will say that i would just have to look into samsung phones specially Omnia HD, but i like the UI of the HTC hero, yup iphone, pre', samsung, LG, nokia, sony phone killer...

What i dont like about the HTC Hero is its candy bar design, it would be more gorgeous if it has no curve like thing on the bottom of the phone, just a plain bar with no curves. cut off the curve and squeeze the other keys and the track ball on the center of the home and menu key and it would be awesome.

i think HTC HERO UI is very far, miles far, galaxy far more better than those in the market today...
