Yes it can be unlocked and once its unlocked it will recognise the sim but need to go to carrier for setting.
i also have htc inspire 4g here in the philippines.. it is already unlock, but the problem is.. after using it for 2 weeks, i failed to use it again cause the phone says that i need to put a sim even if i already put it in there..
can somebody help me about that matter?
i have this issue with my Htc Desire HD, that everytime i turnoff my screen, and turns it on again the mobile network have no connection.
some times i get an sms at 4 o clock at the night, but the sender sendet me the sms at 20 o clock.
everytime i turn on my screen to unlock there is no service.
