nobody, 21 Jun 2009poor people's iPhone I saw many housing black kids carry Android G1. This will come to t-mob... moredude i phones are like 200 quid now in england unlocked these are 400+ and google's programmers are brillient the operating system is sharp reponsive and can multitask a major flaw of the iphone which can't try running google latatude on an iphone and see what happens
This phone is nice for people without needs for some privacy, just like Gmail.
I don't want any company to read my private SMS, especially the way Google "reads" what words you write in Gmails. They actually don't read it manually, but they search which words you use most commonly, and then those words amazingly appear in Google Ads for your IP adress. I hope Android isn't the same thing, but I strongly fear it is.
I got a chance to use this phone yesterday at one of Vodafone's store, Oxford circus. I must say that this phone gives a tough competition to iPhone. It's 'Touch screen' is brilliant, looks are awesome. If there is a something which it is lacking behind in, is no applications. But regarding applications there is something very important I would like to say, that iPhone's free applications are just okay, means they give you very limited functionality and in paid applications you get full functionality but in Android you get everything and yet free.
I would like to know if anyone knows any other site for android applications, apart from androidmarket.
I actually want to have Farsi or Arabic language in my HTC magic. Is that possible? can anyone help me?
can i synchronise with iCal (mac) or does it work with iSync? how is the gps? how is the quality of thesound when you are using the phone handsfree?
i have had the magic on voda uk for a month. wipes the floor with the iphone. quicker, less restrictive than the iphone, battery better camera clearer.
the list goes on..............
iphones are for people wanting to follow trends.
android phones are for people who want to set trends.
in the end its about the software on this phone when comparing it to the iphone, iphones software is more restrictive. Also this phone is aimed at the same market as the iphone users. I don't actually see iphone users dropping there iphones and rushing over to tmobile over this device but i do see people doing that when android has many more devices in about a year and by then att will have there own line of android devices.
wow.., 23 Jun 2009dude really?! lol iphones are only 200 bucks lol. If you can afford this, you can afford an ip... moreAn iPhone forces you to get a data plan that costs about $70 a month. So its not really that cheap. I'm sure T-Mobile do the same with their version.
devil may cry, 23 Jun 2009which is the different betwen HTC magic with T-Mobile G1 ??its a same product with different c... moreThe G1 has a physical keyboard and thus is much larger. The Magic also has a bigger battery as well as more shared memory. Unless you NEED a physical keyboard, the Magic is a better choice IMO.

I am thinking of pruchasing the HTC Magic.
1. Is it compatible with Microsoft windows?
2. The HTC Touch HD also works off voice recognition where you can tell it to call a certain person and it will or ask how your appointments in your diary are like and it will talk back to you. does this mobile do the same thing?
Your comments would be appreciated
which is the different betwen HTC magic with T-Mobile G1 ??its a same product with different company or what ?
i think like made in china.also HTC
Been using HTC Magic for abt 1 month, simply the best phone i ever used. feature-rich, imo better than iphone OS, but not overly complicated as WinMo or Symbian devices. build quality is superb, despite made of plastic, but feels really good in hand. the size is perfect, too big and it's bulky, too small and not fun for web-browsing. Android is still at infant stage, but sooner or later it will catch up with the currently more popular platforms out there.
I went to smartone store the other day and played the demo phone for a while. But i didn't like the touch function. It is not that responsive. I have a htc diamond and i was expecting a lot improve on that. anyway track ball seems to be very useful. Is there any other phone who can beat iphone on touch function?
STU P4U, 18 Jun 2009Can anyone help me with regards to sending something via bluetooth (song, picture) to the devi... moreI hope this helps...
Do you have a PC with bluetooth?
If you dont try, blutoothing from someone elses mobile or PC, bluetoothing by a mobile to mobile, simply turn both bluetooth devices on> right click in the connectivety>click paired devices or add NEW> find they're name>click connect> go through wat you want from they're phone then> click send.
If you do, turn bluetooth on your mobile and PC.
Then on PC, go to start>bluetooth or wireless file transfer> add your device on your PC> browse for music or images>click send
Sorry if this doesnt help;/
