WiMAX can allow video calls if the operator supports it. The video camera will also function with skype and MSN if required, which can be done over any wireless connection.
Something dosnt look right, how there is another camera for video call and it says the phone doesnt support 3G
Please rectify in the specifications:
As per HTC Site:
Camera Main camera: 3.2 megapixel color camera with auto focus
Second camera: VGA CMOS color camera
You specs says 5 MP Camers.
Could anyone let me know about the differences between A-GPS Function and A-GPS support?
Seriously, stop saying 4G is 3G!!!
If you don't understand those two technologies, simply shut up.
"4G" is labeled WiMAX in this instance and is not LTE. Backwards compatibility of both those technologies with W-CDMA is questionable at this stage and not likely. Hence 4G cannot include 3G.
It's not all the same!
Anonymous, 26 Jan 2009yes it does. 4g means it will support 3g as well.2G Network GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 nuff said!
a few clarifications - 16e WiMAX (4G) does NOT support 3G technologies as well since they are different standards. this phone will only work with existing 16e networks such as those of Sprint Nextel in the US. It may/may not even work with the WiBro networks of Korea. And finally, it will definitely NOT work with the fixed WiMAX (16d) networks in India.
According to the HTC site, this is not a 3G phone. There is no HSDPA specs...
