pls change change that m p to ultra pixal in camara
HTC uses the term "ultrapixel" as a way of changing the conversation and explaining why the HTC One camera, which basically has a 4 megapixel lens, can best cameras with MP ratings that are twice as high.
Peyman Hafezi, 10 Jul 2013Ultrapixel is a disaster in HTC ONE. I've compared many photos from ONE with 8MP cameraphones ... moreIt is normal. It is a 4 mpx picture and lacks in detail compared to those mentioned by you, but in low light...different story here: what's the use of 13 mpx if you can't make a single photo?! I have an htc one s and i am pleased with overall perfomance of the phone, but when i've tried to get some pictures during low light (on a terrace, in a club) i found the use or need for a low light camera performer...nad htc one s has bsi, seems to do better low light pics than sgs 3 or iphone 4s ( or it seems to me)...but i have to do so many pictures and then to select the let say "better ones"
I don't use my phone as a replacement for point and shoot camera or dslr...my 7 years old olympus sp 510 with only 7 mpx beats any current phone on the market (except nokia pw 808, or 1020) because has better, more complex and heavy optics not juar mpx.
The photos with phone are for unprepared, instant shot to remeber/ catch the moment and 90% look good (except night, low light and no flash)
Yes ! Finally HTC One 4.2.2 update release in global last night. I'm SEA user, but my update need to take around 6 hours. @.@" Id updated it. Really awesome after updated ! The only word i can say, you wont regret to buy it. ^^
Ehsan, 11 Jul 2013My htc one has a problem with playing HD videos. It has some lags while playing and it is not ... moreTry to use mx player or vplayer. Depending on the type of file one of these 2 should do better ( for me vplayer is better on xvid, avi and mx player is better on mkv). I own a htc one s and with these player i have no issue.
You can find them on g play.

I own HTC one 10 days and I would recomend this phone to everyone. Very fast, powerful and beautiful. It just heats a little, but I think it's normal. I owned Sony Xperia S before, it was also very good phone, but this one is amazing!
Best phone I've ever owned so far! And by far! Kicks iPhone 5's ads! And probably iPhone 6.... Stupid proprietary crap
bad screen, bad quality looking after a week screen look like a year old.
Nikola, 12 Jul 2013It's actually 4 "ultra"pixel (as HTC have branded them), meaning you get much better... moreIt's 4MP, for goodness' sake. HTC use the term Ultrapixel to describe the pixel, not the camera's resolution. 4 Ultrapixels would mean 4 larger pixels. It would take photos that would look just like what a mayfly sees in a dark room. Now, the 4MP camera isn't much of an improvement over this in terms of detail levels, but still...
Medicineman004, 11 Jul 2013Hi I recently bought the HTC one after extensively researching on the net. Unfortunately I did... moreDosnt sound like your research was extensive at all if you didn't try before you buy. I did extensive research comparing in shop on 5 occasions asking tech staff many questions including which phone do you prefer. All staff except 1 preceded the HTC one out of 5 shops ignoring s4 hype. I found the HTC one interface much more organized and practical simple to follow not over complicated and cluttered with pre loaded apps and gimmicky functions that didn't interest me. I also conducted experiments with my friend who has the S4 and prior to that the S2. Where I had the HTC sensation and then the HTC one definitely made the correct decision purchasing the HTC one and I've never actually meet anyone that was disappointed that's why I think you don't have the HTC one and are a s4 fanclub member a stroller.
