Great phone but the widget is so disappointment.any idea how to get the same widget I used to have while using one x?most of the widget came with a small size example bookmark widget only 3x2 instead of 4x4.overall I love the phone so much but please HTC,do something with widget!
Re non removable battery - my prime concern is what happens when the phone freezes. I currently have an SG2 and when it freezes the only way to turn it off and restore it is to remove the battery. This has happened quite a few times and accordingly I'd like to know how I would return to the home screen in the HTC One or even turn off the phone if it froze.
The thing that sucks about his page is that instead of HTC One owners or people curious about purchasing one its filled with samsung fanboy, filling up the comments with useless junk
if you dont have the phone and are not interested in getting it go to your prefered manufactuers page, when trying to find answers or ask opinions of other One owners I dont like to scroll endlessly to find 1st someone who can form a english sentace and 2 someone whos not babeling on about oh samsung plastic phone not good,oh samsung best ever phone, best as my english word writing. idiots. Also with the software version update I mentioned yesterday, HTC advised me to do a battery recalibration which did work, with the phone off and charging you press and hold the volume up/down and power all at the same time for 15 seconds.
ilove new htc phones great and also handsome perfect body htc one are number 1 in the world
hi guys i just wanted to know how is htc ones wifi reception.. cox when it comes to onex m very diasapointd. while on the other hand onex coompetitor s3 has a very good wifi recption propably the best one i came acros yet
Shahid, 27 Jun 2013Dude,,S4 beats this phone from a great margin,,,have look for yourself at the showrooms or wat... moreI compared the phone side by side in the show room and the S4 just lags while opening apps (slower than HTC in most apps opening)and while going back to the home screen when pressing the home button. The touchwiz UI does not feel that good when compared to the sense 5. The on contract price for S4 is now more expensive than the HTC ONE. Ths removable battery is useless if you can't even buy the battery in the market after a few years. Dont let the removable battery glimmick hindred our choice.
AnonD-43136, 27 Jun 2013True! Im a bit doubtful about the camera but how loud would you say it is? Can it match the aw... moreAs far as the two-button configuration is concerned, its fairly straightforward. Sense UI 5.0 works brilliantly and its an engaging experience to get used to the whole set-up.
Comparison to the W995 would be tricky, but the HTC ONE is the closet alternative you can lay your hands on, considering your requirement. Honestly, don't expect the ONE to match the loudness levels..but the overall result is fairly satisfactory.
AnonD-43136, 27 Jun 2013True! Im a bit doubtful about the camera but how loud would you say it is? Can it match the aw... moreSony has always been at the forefront of making excellent devices as companions for music aficionados,no doubt.
The BoomSound speakers deliver crisp audio quality. Its loud enough for a device which is primarily a mobile phone. For Beats audio to truly come into its own, again..good aftermarket earphones/headphones are a must.
The pictures I have taken from the 4 Ultrapixel cam are definitely better in low-light environments as promised. Then again, this advantage is only useful for users who will use their HTC ONE in parties/camp-fires and other exciting but unmentionable circumstances!
Zoe does give so many options to fine-tune pictures taken in any environment..and I have personally tried to use a combination of features from Zoe and Instagram.
I am a hardcore gamer first,so naturally my objective was to acquire a phone which has excellent hardware coupled with excellent touch interface for best possible gaming experience on the go. Honestly, the HTC ONE more than lives up to expectation. Best possible performance for a sub 5" HD screen, the rendering is seamless and if you invest in good quality aftermarket headphones..it is one heckuva piece of kit! (Got to mention the in-ear headphones are barely average, considering this is the FLAGSHIP device from HTC)
*My average usage is as follows in a 24hr cycle> 70% web-browsing+messengers+social feeds; 25% gaming;5% calls
*Total time in use in 24hrs, besides standby.
Fully charged battery drains out by end of day.
I have installed Battery_Guru by Qualcomm from Play store and actually seen battery utilization optimized by atleast 20%
Downloading MX player is recommended as the stock vid player on the HTC ONE doesn't support all codecs.
Downloading Avast or AVG anti-virus is also recommended from the outset.
I love HTC ONE design n features but before buying only thing i wanna know about this phone is battery timing???
As i do use 3G services most ov time am online on whats app n FB
sam, 27 Jun 2013S4 is much much better than htc one .
both are coming with android but s4 has sd card option... moreThe S4 is a flop when comparing with the HTC One due to these facts.
* There is no Adobe Flash player support such a expensive phone. Even my previous One X have.
* There is a storage problem in S4, that can't move apps to the Micro SD card.
* The phone is massively over heating.
* The phone is frequently lags and freeze even they use whatever processor.
* The Samsung Galaxy S4 has indeed had some issues connecting to certain Wi-Fi networks, which Samsung has confirmed.
* Earphone issue. The ear phones are slightly vibrating when you played music loud or incoming calling volume is very high.
HTC One buyers are no need to be remorse regarding the Android version (4.1.2) because HTC confirmed they are planned to released 4.2 upgrade in mid of July, just patience.
the HTC One gives you the more perfect display with more vibrant and realistic colours than the S4.
The S4 can take a photos just in the daylight it's poor in the low light. But the HTC One is perfect in both circumstances.
HTC One not only gives you a perfect music quality on earphones, but also the front dual speakers with dedicated amplifier.
HTC One has a active noise cancelling HDR microphone, that will lead you to make a call even in a noisy environment. And the impressive call clarity.
The Premium looking Aluminium Unibody rather than cheap looking plastic body.
THAT WHY YOU SHOULD BUY A HTC ONE OVER GALAXY S4.
Lucky, 27 Jun 2013HTC one, this is great phone than S4 Dude,,S4 beats this phone from a great margin,,,have look for yourself at the showrooms or watch it on youtube

Can it match the awsome dual cannon speakers on live walkman? Also how easy is it to get along with the 2button configuration. My live walkman is old and past its best now so I want a premium twin speaker device. I love my live walkman but it just isnt a premium device like old w995 was. Please list pros and cons of htc one. And dont mention galaxy s4_ awsome phone but rubbish cheap and boring design.
S4 has plastic body , but less radiation compare to alimunim body.
Less heating problem
Htc one has more heating prblm
