You'll see it's very bad, with no fine detail whatsoever. And the phone is much better than the featurephone-with-an-appstore iPhone 5.
ON 23rd had HTC one in my hands ,what a beauty.this is my 4th HTC ph (since 2005).it had hairline gaps at both the speakers ,exchanged it on 27th and when i opened the second HTC box ,to my surprise this ph too had a hairline gap on the upper speaker, all along the speaker .so again had to exchange and hopefully tonight i will have my third HTC ONE.its sad that the QC is so bad.very much disappointed ,they removed my post from FB HTC INDIA page. I like to buy a new but i confused with mobile is getting heat due to the processor. so can any one tel me which phone good? (HTC ONE or Sony Xperia Z or Samsung Galaxy S4?)
Currently using Incredible S. A good handset, only one flaw. Actually It's common to many HTC handsets. It doesn't show outgoing call waiting notification. I mean when I call someone who (had already activated call waiting option) is on an active call (talking with another guy), my display doesn't show call waiting notification. Dudes, please notice I'm not talking about incoming call waiting notification.
I have googled and found that handsets from some other manufacturers e.g. Sony, Samsung etc show this notification. This notification is too important for me. I find it awkward to call someone repeatedly while he has been busy in another call.
Does HTC One behave in the same way? Hope to get a feedback from any user.
NB: Had to repeat the post as no user gave me a proper feedback.
AnonD-88517, 29 May 2013My One heat up when i download things or etc~
and the battery drained fast
it is because th... moreits both...
the performance will get better once your excitement wanes down a bit..its natural its a new phone and you are excited so you will use it alot more than 2 weeks from now..you are still trying to learn all the stuff so naturally the screen is on..i believe the screen is what drains the HTC one battery the most..afterall, the screen is a big consuming items due to its resolution and the processor is also a power hog. with today's phones they will all suffer from the high consuming technologies. yes..give it a week and it should improve..but it will always depend on your usage!

Fill up (100%) and deplete (5%) so it breaks in. You also use the phone more the first few days, because it's new.... The battery is really good indeed. The heat, well.. you feel it more because it's a metal body but it's better for the components inside since the whole body acts like a cooler, conducting heat from inside to the outside. It gets warm quickly (not really hot) but it also cools down a lot quicker then other phones ;)

it is because the phone is still new(bought it yesterday)or because of mine heavy use?
anyway the phone still brilliant no lag at all so coool!!! ;D
Htc is the only mobile that supports internet Pass through without any rooting the mobile set.
you can use internet of your pc in your mobile by a usb cable.
other phnes needs to be rooted and installed some apps.
A little bit dissapointed with the camera performance of this HTC ONE.Can firmware improved this one.
AnonD-52960, 28 May 2013U see,HTC one is made by aluminium body,it means that the heat feature is more than other plas... moreI'm thinking if the HTC One's temp goes up to 40C in an aluminun body and the Samsung Galaxy S4 do the same in polycarbonate body, what do you think is the temp of the chipset and GPU inside? If other says that aluminum is a heat conductor than polycarbonate, I imagined HTC One's body may act as a heat sink to at least dissipate heat inside than Polycarbonate. What do you think?
Hi i own the htc one for about a week now. The camera is great, the battery is good, the phone is gorgeous, the only problem is the phone gets hot, but i am sure a future update will fix that
Deepakjain, 27 May 2013I used my S4 previously and now I gave it off and got this mighty beast, and boy should i tell... moreThe sad fact that everyone seems to forget is that those phones are identical. If used equally will have almost exactly the same battery life. I work with mobile phones every day and can tell you that from first hand experience. Anything else comes from personal changes done to the Android and if done on both devices will reduce the battery life accordingly. In comparison with iOS Android has real multitasking and a shitload of background services that affect the battery.
If you want good battery life on any Android device, disable all auto updating apps and don't install apps that create BG service that keep the phone awake. Thats it.
