Visa, 26 May 2013In South Africa cost R13,000,00. which is tantamount to $1299too much i got it for 800 us dollers.(32 gb not 64)
I used my S4 previously and now I gave it off and got this mighty beast, and boy should i tell you about the gadget, its an awesome one.. First i was a little hesitant when my dealer had informed me about the availability, I was in a dilemma to go for it or not, but then took all my courage to give away my one month old s4 and get this one.. the phone actually gives a feel that yes you own a costly phone in your hands, the build, the grip of this phone is much better in comparison to S4, and this phone actually makes you stand unique in crowd, but the s4 is a replica of s3, the screen being slightly bigger. I lastly used HTC wildfire and that was the last ever phone i thought i would ever be using on the HTC, but this phone completely changed my mind! I was always with an opinion tht the sound quality sucked in HTC and so did the battery life, but believe it or not, am amazed to see such a wonderful sound quality, from the speakers and the headphone as well! the phone battery life is much better in comparison to the Samsung's battery life! The touch response is excellent! I seriously feel this would be the last ever phone am changing at this frequency!

Laboratory, 26 May 2013Dude, you're lying. You haven't answered my question. And what seems as a lie to you? An explanation could make it clear.
Love the design, love the feature.
Everything is great, no lag, smooth operation, fast internet surfing, great battery life, crystal clear n bright slcd3 display with great viewing angle, great sound with beats audio loud speaker, less heating issue compare to other brands, its aluminium design give a great feeling on hands, better camera performance after the FW update, i love zoe functions very much and very useful.
1. I hv none to comments accept for the 4mpx ultra pixel performance is average but that is not a big issue for me.

are you sure your complaints are handset issues and not Android issues?? where is the rolling eyes emoticon when you need it...
i you are not just writing negative comments for the sake of showing your hate to the brand like many do which is an unfortunate thing...
Visa, 26 May 2013In South Africa cost R13,000,00. which is tantamount to $1299thats the problem with taxation..SA is too highly taxed..
i recall i was there on my honeymoon, i have bought this cellini suitcase from my home and i said it must be cheaper in SA since its where the brand is from, but to my surprise, it was alot more expensive than home. i got to know later about all the taxation and whatnot in the SA system...if you are a traveler, the best thing is to buy these things from abroad and bring them home not to get taxed...
I like the specs .. I should have bought this instead of my desire X but not saying desire X is bad .. i still like my phone :)
I recently bought the HTC One and I'm really disappointed with it. Doesn't seem to sync my calendar properly, and apparently to download apps such as Solitaire, you need to give permission for them to access all your phone calls! Wish I'd gone with an iPhone or stuck with my reliable old Blackberry.

AnonD-8044, 26 May 2013HTC is not doing good. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-22654037Eric Lin is now jealous cause HTC One is doing well
I bought my HTC One from Sprint, I was hoping that Verizon would carry it but I couldn't hold my breath that long. After 3 years my ancient Samsung Galaxy S1 was dying on me and I seriously needed a replacement. I decided to get mine through Sprint and I am utterly glad with my decision to purchase the HTC One. Sure, it only has 32GB of memory but if you get your HTC One from either Sprint or T-Mobile, you get a free 25GB storage from Dropbox. The non-replaceable battery is not an issue for me since in the past I never really replaced my batteries and by the time the HTC One's battery needs to be replaced it would also be time for me to replace my phone. Overall I just love my phone. I tried out the Galaxy S4 but could help accept the fact that the One has the better build quality and the screen is a lot better as well. I highly recommend this phone if you are looking to get a new mobile phone.
Currently using Incredible S. A good handset, only one flaw. Actually It's common to many HTC handsets. It doesn't show outgoing call waiting notification. I mean when I call someone who (had already activated call waiting notification) is on an active call, the display doesn't show call waiting notification. Dudes, please notice I'm not talking about incoming call waiting notification.
I have googled and found that handsets from some other manufacturers e.g. Sony, Samsung etc show this notification. This notification is too important for me. I find it awkward to call someone repeatedly when he is already in an active call.
Does HTC One approach in the same way? Hope to get a feedback from any user.
