htc innovations are quite amazing this ultrapixel camera innovation is astonishing
I don't understand why HTC (My fav phone company) continues to make phones that are NOT on Samsung's level. They made this HTC ONE and the phone is spectacular BUT it seems like they always stop short of Greatness. Making a phone that could obliterate anything that's out there now and for the future. Unfortunately I am not a Samsung fan so I can't bring myself to buy that Galaxy 4 so I will sit tight and wait for HTC to wake up.
sara, 19 Apr 2013HTC nailed it with Good screen and loud speakers. But camera is 4MP only and lacks details.4MP... moreActually, No. That camera has a 4 Megapixel effective resolution but since it is capturing far more light than even a 13 MP camera, pictures are of better quality.
Also, in real world scenario where people end of uploading these pictures on Instagram/Facebook, 4 MP is a lot already. It is like double the resolution of most laptop or LCD Monitor.s
hellllooooo it has a 4ultra pixel camera which is betterc than the s4 camera as ive seen one
oxo, 20 Apr 2013The only andvantage of led screens is they are less in power consumption. That advantage is visible only if you use dark screens... When browsing the Internet (white background) AMOLED uses more energy then SLCD3
i compared the picture quality of s4, experia z and htc one and sad to say htc one is way behind between s4 and experia z.
that 4mb camera wins against 13mb especially after the update.
the worst thing is that you can't crop the photo or you can't zoom in.
but it is the best in low light performance.
i think if htc sells alot of htc one in 2014 they will make 13 ultrapixel or 8 at least.
but for 4mb it is great camera and it can stands against 13mb or 8mb.this tec will have good future.
sorry for bad english :D
The only andvantage of led screens is they are less in power consumption.
So friends if Samsung discontinues AMOLED and gives LCD or TFT and HTC, SONY uses AMOLED shall people move to HTC, SONY? Are not Samsung with LCD screens sold?
When it comes to TV what does people buy LCD/LED with bright, vibrant but unnatural colour or PLASMA with natural colours, deep black, better contrast, excellent viewing angle?
Just think about it!
On a different note, where are insects attracted?
hi guyss....i have been using htc since years.. hero..legend...desire...and now one x. its time to change the phone and confused between htc one and SGS4. please suggest which one is best??? tired of checking reviews and all again n again.
SLCD is better then AMOLED like it was last year when One X had a better screen then GS3. Some say vibrant colors are better but they are unrealistic. And if you set the screen to "natural" the colors become pastel on the AMOLED. As for the deep blacks, they are somewhat too deep for my taste. When watching a movie for instance the dark scenes are to dark to differentiate between the grays.
I like its aluminum unibody that gives a better craftsmanship......I hope there will be a 4inch of this phone......
AnonD-130411, 18 Apr 2013.???????....r u replying to me?Its all metal.. not polycarbonate or ne sort of plastic pure single piece aluminium body
FF, 20 Apr 2013it has higher pixel density because it has 4,7 inches screen compared to S4 which is 5 inches.... moreYeah I know that, the larger the screen the lower the ppi gets, if the one have a 5" screen like the sgs4 or sxz the ppi of the htc one will be 442 ppi, only 1 ppi advantage for the one but tft have a bad viewing angles, oled have a very ugly saturation and very sharp colors that doesn't have natural colors, the lcd is still the best with rich natural colors and better viewing angles compare to tft, htc one and lg optimus g pro is in the top if we are talking with screen specs.
Love this phone.. a bit unsatisfied with 4mp camera day light performance else i can find no fault..
If ne one knows does this one also hav only 2 colour led like other htc devices or rgb led?
The user, 20 Apr 2013Hey guy.what is the best display?super amoled, ips lcd or tft lcd display.i plan to buy htc one... moreThere is no best display as a general opinion. Important is which one you like best. It is your taste that matter not general one. Amoled have best contrast, very deep blacks but aren't as bright as lcd (doewn't matter which variety: tft or ips). As for lcd ips tend to have better viewing angles, but choose one phone after you see same movie, clip on a display, after you hold it in your hand and feel your heart or brain:-)
All 3 phones are best market can offer now and i'am sure you will be pleased with anyone. Just follow your taste. Then surely you will be very happy with your choice.
Ps: sorry for my english too
AnonD-116018, 20 Apr 2013i had read almost all the reviews no one is comparing htc display with samg bcoz htc has the b... moreread gsmarena review "this website" u will find them comparing the htc one screen to galaxy s4 and they say:
Winner: Samsung Galaxy S4. The Samsung flagship takes this one, as its screen is bigger, with better sunlight legibility, while still offering you the option to have accurate colors thanks to Adobe RGB mode. The HTC One screen is impressive, too, but the higher pixel density can't really make up for the lower native contrast and slightly inferior sunlight legibility.
unless of course u consider gsmarena as samg fans
