alipk52, 02 Apr 2013This is great phone, but non-removable battery plus lack of sdcard slot is a deal breaker for me.I prefer to use a external battery pack to charge/run I can use if needed. I prefer it as I don't have to restart the phone to switch batteries. Just plug it in while I'm using it and it charges it. I use a Anker SlimTalk 3200mAh Backup External Battery Pack pack which has a built in cord, can charge other things like my tablet, flashlight and is very small.
Also, 64GB is plenty for me although I would prefer adding my own micro SD card.

Second of all Android is an open source. Google will never limit it, that's for sure. It's what gives them progress, innovation and the lead.

Samsung is also good phone, ther is nothingwrong if plastic is being used in a phone. but its interface dosent has that professional look like iphone and blackberry like htc.
but what do you think where will samsung and other droids left if Google decides to flow its own phones into market and dosent allows licenses to sam-sony-htc its for sure that they are using googles bullets to fire with their arms what if the bullets are no longer there! Apple and google will be the only giants then.

Why HTC got away from 1. Removable memory and 2. Removable battery is beyond me. Other than that the specs look good, but for those reasons alone I'll stick with my HTC Desire HD.

bilal, 31 Mar 2013How about the software update for the camera? Is it coming out with d fone?the final HTC One units that will release commercially already have the updated software for the camera.. it's already posted here in gsmarena.
People don't realise that although Samsung may have "invented" some S features they are more or less just gimmicks that aren't that useful anyways. People I know including myself, don't use half of it (or more) and the features are just disabled. S voice, smart rotate, multi window... Disabled.
People don't realise HTC gave us the first Android phone, and of course first Sense phone that actually made Android useful. Android wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't for HTC and Sense UI. Others only copy it and it's features. From motion control, speed dialer to camera controls and features and so on. I'm really happy to see HTC on the rise again and I hope they take the Android throne back from Samsung. As soon as it lands in my country I intend to sell my Galaxy Note2 in favor of HTC One. The body, the screen, the sound, the UI, the camera. BlinkFeed, Zoe, BoomSound are just some of the things that make me want to have it. Cheers!
[deleted post]Price and released date is unofficial in phil yet. But my estimate price when it arrive in phil is 33k to 34k including tax.
Got the phone on launch day and have been a Samsung galaxy s 2 user. I was going to wait for S4 but fancied a change and can say I was not dissapointed . The look of the phone is amazing and ok it may be only a 4 mega pixel camera but the ultra pixels do make up for it took it on a night out and must say pics came out on top. Also the processor is def worth a look it smooth and works well when gaming even though galaxy s 4 UK version is coming with same processor although it being at 1.9ghz I think this phone will def give it a run for it's money. Finally showed it to some friends who love it as much as me and will be getting same phone also. Out of a score of 100 is def give it a 100 for all aspects. Hope u guys find this useful.
