The screen is SoLux and is very efficient. CPU too... besides Qualcom has an app for battery manegement that may come in handy. S4 has a bigger screen and higher clockec CPU so the battery life should be comparable.

And again, samsung s4 has a much more power efficient screen and bigger battery and HTC One has more power hungry screen and smaller battery! Why HTC, why you keep killing perfectly great devices with such small non user replaceable batteries? Are you doing it on purpose you we stop buying your phones? I was so looking forward to buying HTC One. It's such a great phone save for the small battery.

Double tapping the home button brings up the task manager. And if you dont like sense 5 download nova prime launcher or something.

I've always had phones with this but never used it and none of the people I know carried with them a spear battery. You may as well get one of this, or even cheaper ones could be found on the market, you get much more juice and get rid off closing/starting your phone plus the back cover doesn't wear from all that opening. But many are so close minded that they repeat all the nonsense they hear, or try really hard to find silly disadvantages...Having a removable battery is the last thing I look for on a phone

Only thing that HTC should do here for successful future they should fire the current CEO because he destroys the whole company, similarly they should fire the Marketing manager if they have one and appointe new talented head of Marketing.

I don't know who writes this nonsense... HTC devices are on par with other high end devices, price wise, or even lower. You do get better quality design for the same price though... Only Apple products are way more expensive...

I think that others have higher margin on their top of the line products.
Of course i wouldn't mind buying this phone or any other at lower prices:-) i am a consumer so must appreciate your thought!
Have a nice day.
