HTC? sorry, I don't trust cheap marketing from any company, I wait for the results to speak for themselves and the reviews have started to come out. You should check them and then make a statement like that...not to mention next year HTC will make a camera with only 2MP and humongous pixels but they will also give you a magnifier to look at your photos...
rikyy, 12 Mar 2013Ehm, 4 "ultra pixels", better known as 13-14 mpxyes, htc should post this on their official site, at specs:
resolution - about "13-14 mpx"

Sure, shots are bright and colors are good, but it's clear noise reduction processing is running roughshod all over the photos you take, leaving them soft and mushy even in good lighting. Nothing looks sharp or crisp, no matter the situation. Things look fine at Facebook or Instagram sizes, which HTC is clearly betting is all you need, but when you zoom or crop, photos lose a lot of their luster. I like the shots I'm able to get with the One's camera — I've started taking more pictures in dark restaurants, or on the street at night — but I'm not always impressed with the shots I get."
"Here, the problem lies with the camera. Maybe I’m in the minority when I say I care about the quality of my cellphone images, but I do, and the One just doesn’t deliver. Its battery life is also disappointing, though I’m not as concerned about that – it’s just a fact of life at this point."
Poor battery life
Sense still has some issues
so it's 1 - 1:) and pictures taken from both sites doesn't look impressive at all or a step forward, it's ok for a phone but you would have expected more from a flagship

In short, even though it's not perfect and we'd love to be able to get more detail from zoomed-in shots, the One's UltraPixels methodology appears to be completely sound. We're confident enough in its quality, in fact, to declare the One as our new go-to camera.
No removable battery and no memory card = Big Flop !
Have you ever tried to fill 32b or 16gb of memory using usb of a phone...It takes hours....But it is so fast with a card reader
That 4mp UltraPixel camera is way better than most 8-13mp cameras out there. Never saw how a 5mp DEDICATED digital camera took better photos than a 8mp phone camera? Same principle, just on a phone :)

Comparing cameras based solely on MP is crazy after all what do you think would take a better picture and 12mp compact camera or a 6mp DSLR?

Whatever you wanted to know about the HTC One.
This is a great promo video. It's about the device and tells you all about the main features. It is almost exactly how the official promo should look like. Different theme and ambiance with real live footage. Great!
Anonymous, 12 Mar 20134ultrapixels are equal to 16mp. only if you glue together 4 htc Ones, then you get 16mp. but this technology is so brilliant that you don't have to buy 4 Ones, you can get only one One:))) and a 12MP Sony/Nokia, it's way cheaper...
AnonD-119634, 11 Mar 2013Hi every body, I want to thank HTC about the One impressive battery after the testing and comp... moreWOW, exactly what I have been waiting for, talk time on 3G.
I dont really mind much the video playbacks, since i watch 1 or maximum 2 episodes of some tv show on my phone while on the way and back from work.
other than some music in between and im good.
this definitley put another point in wanting to buy this phone.
thnx for post
For me, I'd love blinkfeed as I really love to read Google Currents. Also, it's convenient to post facebook status/twitter on my homescreen. Also, I don't use excessive data so my battery would last a little longer. I'm sold.
This phone's design looks just like Iphone5,the home screen looks just like windows'live-tiles and last but not the least it's operating system is of course Android. So it won't be wrong to say this phone is a mixture of all successful features you saw till now, from all successful brands;inevitably going to be a huge success.
this is an awesome phone. If you can afford this phone then you are lucky
Good image sensor needs a good lens, not a plastic one or light will just fall on multiple pixels causing dithered pictures. HTC is the first to stop playing on the megapixels game and give users what they really need because the pixels are smaller than the light protons that fall on them.
