everybody knows that N 808 pure view (40 MP) pictures quality is unbeatable till date.
I think HTC One battery capacity will no enough, I have a doubt the battery will last within a day. I was expected at least 2500mah battery. HTC will never learn through mistakes.
For years, a misconception among most consumers is that the higher the megapixel count, the better quality of images. Actually, the number of megapixels is only one of many factors that determine picture quality, with sensors and image processors each playing a critical role.
However, year after year manufacturers try to outdo each other with higher megapixels. How? By reducing the size of the pixels to cram more in, which often decreases image quality. That's because the smaller the pixel, the less light each one collects. This results in more visible noise and other defects in both still images and video.
The more light a digital camera can capture, the more information it can record, resulting in better pictures in more varied conditions and lighting environments.
HTC's approach is to offer larger pixels in the new sensor that can capture 300% more light than many of the 13 megapixel cameras on the market. Because larger pixels record more light and data, our photos display more shades and greater color accuracy.

The new HTC One will be the first to feature the HTC UltraPixel Camera - an advanced imaging technology that offers a great leap in the quality of point-and-shoot photos and video. Smartphones have rapidly become the primary camera for millions of people, and taking pictures has become an indispensable part of daily life. HTC is committed to offering the highest quality camera available, so even everyday pictures are gratifying and memorable.
With our new camera, you’ll be able to quickly shoot vivid, true-to-life images with a wide range of colors, even in low light conditions. We accomplish this not by increasing the number of megapixels in the camera, but by engineering a more advanced CMOS Sensor, ISP, and optical lens system that captures significantly more light than most 8 or 13 megapixel cameras.
Bro Its Phone of the year .Even it does't show its phone and still got the gold medal .. :D
What were they thinking putting a 4MP Camera in this? It's 2013 there's no excuse for putting in a camera like that. If it was one of those budget phones then i could understand.
ultrapixel still doesnt matched with iphone 5 8MP camera. im not a iphone fan nor a user of it but apple really make a very good camera for their mobile phone. check gsmarena comparison between the two phones.
AnonD-119065, 01 Mar 2013its mistake by gsmarena and its not 4 mega pixel its new technology called ultrapixel
Sorry to bust your bubble
But it really is 4 MP and it's cap!! Compared to both iPhone 5 and LG new Optimus!!
Check gsmareana's review and see for yourself :/
This is HTC first obvious fail even before release lol
AnonD-33134, 01 Mar 2013infrared is back...lolWhy not? You can still control most of home media devices with ir.
AnonD-119065, 01 Mar 2013its mistake by gsmarena and its not 4 mega pixel its new technology called ultrapixel No, HTC One has 4MP camera. 4 megapixel mean that here is 4 million pixels. Ultrapixel mean that every pixel is bigger and can capture over 3x more light than non-ultrapixel. So this 4MP camera captures better than non-ultra 12MP camera.

No offense but experts like you tend to jump to general conclusions bars on experiences with other devices, without considering pros and cons of new technology. You can not possible know the exact general properties of neither Exmor RS or this One sensor.
Anyway. The Big Z of already far ahead of One in Daily Interest, i was sure the One would jump ahead for snorket day because of the GA Preview, but no, One does not appeal to most people the way Z does. I believe the design is the main problem, One X failed by looking like the since long outdated 2010 Desire, and One fails on looking like both ip5 and z10. The thickness is also a problem, those who want fat phones already bought lumia 920.
difference of HDR video recording vs normal video recording please sugg...
