Kohli, 17 Jul 2014Even HTC M8 with dual speakers has only average loudness. Moto G is the loudest sounding phone... moreU should be kidding, the M8 speaker is not loudest agreed but the quality is way way better than any phone speaker I can think of, its superb and dont type foolish comments like these HTC is getting awarded for this kind of achievements
I use a HTC m7 and no phone I have seen till date can even match the M7, M8 and E8 has even more powerful speakers

This device has been released in Russia and its priced around 530Euro which is about 42K in INR. So, the same device is selling around 34K which should be ideal. Its a good deal for this flagship.

Shrey7, 16 Jul 2014Agreed bro.. NEXUS 5 is selling for 34k with snapdragon 800 with 2300 mAh battery and speak... moreEven HTC M8 with dual speakers has only average loudness. Moto G is the loudest sounding phone of the latest with just a single speaker. So there is no point in having stereo speakers with amplifier Which sounds low even if is sweet to hear.
When is the HTC One E8 coming to the United States? Does any one know cause I try looking online and can't find an answer. Thanks
Angry Mobile Nerd, 16 Jul 2014Your expectation was this was suppose to be priced at half the price of an M8? Really? Are y... moreIts going to happen sometime in october, now that andriod one project of google aims at the developing counties and tie-up with low cost phone manufactures such as MicroMax, Spice, Cellkom, Karbon etc.where, they mainly at device manufactured based on the standards set by google and software with pre installed stuffs of google and assured and maximum specs at minimum price will affect the sales of HTC, Samsung, Nokia, BB..etc. As the search engine giant knows that the importing electronic goods to India will cost them more and they are focusing now on the 'made in India' manufactures. amazing strategy!

NEXUS 5 is selling for 34k with snapdragon 800 with 2300 mAh battery and speaker quality is just terrible and not to mention it has 8MP camera which is very mediocre.
On other side HTC ONE E8 has
2600 mAh battery
Boom Sound speakers
13 MP camera
Extreme power saving mode
Updates as you would get on Nexus
I believe 34 is awesome pricing within a month it will come down to 31k-32k.
When you are spending same amount of money for NEXUS what's wrong with this phone?
Anonymous, 16 Jul 2014Excuse me, didn't you saw the budget, in which tax has been reduced for mobiles and upto 45k t... moreNo, but I did find this Wall Street Journal article that was just published 6 days ago reporting that India plans to INCREASE taxes on "some imported telecommunications products as it aims to cut imports of electronic goods, a move aimed at narrowing the trade deficit and spurring local manufacturing."
Hmmm isn't that surprisingly similar to what I said about governments giving tax breaks to local manufacturers to give them a home turf advantage?
