Angry Mobile Nerd, 02 Jul 2014What are you talking about "not even able to ensure availability"? The E8 is availa... moredude its not called whinning, its a genuine concern for this great mobile manufacturer.....no doubt they are the best in whatever phones they manufacture, but they are not able to tranform their greatness into sales. I've personally witnessed people waiting for E8 since the day it announced and ultimately shifting to Sammy S-5.

The E8 is available, I'm seen it with my own two eyes. HTC didn't do some huge world wide press event (like they did for the M8) to announce the E8, they did a little press event in Beijing signifying it would be initially only be released in China. And so what? A lot of phones are released country specific; the Galaxy Round and LG VU series are exclusive to South Korea while the S5 Active is exclusive to the US. And Japan gets a whole bunch of awesome phones you don't even know about because lack of press coverage outside of Japan.
You guys need to stop whining and buy your next phone already. Of course there is always a chance they will launch it in your country. If you want to put your money where you mouth is you'd import an E8 for yourself and then you would at least have bragging rights amongst your friends.
when we can see this model in middel east, its very good model but they have to fill full the promises and deliver it to every where with a good price as soon as possible.
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2014All spec are great. This is what i wanted. But Non removable battery is draw back in my opini... moreWell i work in Dual Sim area only in Modems. It gives impact for max. 2-3 percent on Data rates when you insert both the sims and you are doing a data call on one Sim. That is necessity becuase h/w has to switch constantly checking for alerts or pages for both the connections. But If you insert one sim only no performance issue at all and it will be exactly similar to one sim. So dont worry at all and enjoy double the experience.
Great phn. I was waiting 4 htc desire 816 thn htc e8 surfaced so i began wait ..so nw around 4 months wait
Brij: I am eagerly waiting this mobile to be launched in India. I will get it on first days of release.

India is a very promising market like China & they are so late.
M fed up with this wait Man!!
X, 01 Jul 2014Some mobl's come with "copy version" so pls be carefulWhat do you mean by copy version?
And is there anyone who ordered this phone from HK or anywhere in china?
This phone has got everything that I was looking for. When does it come out in India? Its July now. What's the expected price of this phone in India?
All spec are great. This is what i wanted.
But Non removable battery is draw back in my opinion for users like me who are extensive users of mobile.
And dual SIM provision, will it effect performance? somebody give me clarification please...
daniel, 27 Jun 2014I confuse to pick this phone or HTC One Dual SIM. Can anyone help me?onl E8
I'm from India and have been waiting for long to buy this one. but its doesnt seem to hit the markets any sooner. So I'm planning to ask a friend in hong-kong to get it for me! Any pros-cons on getting the phone from HK? or any problems I may face with the handset? like some phoes are region-unlocked etc. please enlighten :)
is this mobile dual standby or dual active sim can anyone confirm!!!
These HTC people are not even able to ensure the availability of E8 and already have planned for Lollipop update. This is the difference between SAMSUNG and HTC and why sammy is ruling the markets. Midtier is a vast ocean of oppurtunity and HTC should have cashed by quickly releasing E8. Now many consumers are fed up with this wait and wait and are shifting to S-5 as the same is available in 32-33K (4-5K more than the expected rate of E8). These HTC guys needs a good marketing team otherwise they'll extinct in the near future.
