Doc.Paradoxx, 24 Apr 2016But, after factory reset all the downloaded apps, msgs, contacts and settings will be gone. Right?Yes everything will be erased.but You can backup your contacts in sim card or just go to settings and do google backup,it will save ur messages, contact and the apps you were using will automatically get downloaded again after restoring backup after factory reset or you can download a app that can make your apps apk file and save it on ur removable storage or connect your device to computer and than save everything which matters you on your computer(you can use clean master for making apk backup).

Dixitakarsh, 23 Apr 2016You will remain on the same Android version which you were running on before factory reset. But, after factory reset all the downloaded apps, msgs, contacts and settings will be gone. Right?
Hi all ,
I want to know whether all my current data i.e. contacts, messages, apps and their settings will remain as they are now after the marshmellow update for HTC One E8. Please suggest.
Panesar, 23 Apr 2016does anyone notice difference in audio after update ?Yes there is a major difference in audio .... via headphones and speakers both.. they have improved it a lot. improvement is too much, even HTC stock in-ears (which are awesome) cant handle full volume and bass. its just too good. the update was worth the wait. :)
to get max from your headphone output try using Sony Headphones.... they handle High Output well
Rat hunter, 23 Apr 2016Normally my galaxy s7 works great but sometimes it hangs(not like totally stopping my work but... moreThe test model which I tested also used to hang for a second in the use of it for 1-2 weeks(I won't even say it as a second),not a big issue for sure but it is Samsung and everyone knows that it is known for lagging interference.your device Isn't defected at all,you will have to compromise on performance if you are using Samsung(this isn't told in any review because we are not supposed to say this).galaxy s7 is a great phone and leaving those little lags it does the work done pretty quick.
Dixitakarsh, 23 Apr 2016Yes live filters have been removed.Normally my galaxy s7 works great but sometimes it hangs(not like totally stopping my work but just for a second) and I don't think that one of the best phone is supposed to hang for even a second.i want to ask that if this is the problem of this phone or I had received a defected device?thanks for your time.
drdm, 22 Apr 2016sir really i dont know...if we do factory setting we will loose all the saved data also which ... moreYou will remain on the same Android version which you were running on before factory reset.
drdm, 22 Apr 2016sir really i dont know...if we do factory setting we will loose all the saved data also which ... moreYou will loose the data on your internal storage so make sure to make a backup.you can backup through 2 ways that is manual backup(which I do) or use an app for backup such as HTC backup(which has got discontinued so you can use Google backup in the setting).to do manual backup connect to your computer through USB and copy all the important data from mobile internal to SD card or PC.to backup contact transfer them to sim card or google back will save them.
Adi.., 22 Apr 2016My idea was after formatting 16 gb external card as internal i will get 32GB as internal stora... moreI was guessing right, after your comment I thought you misunderstood the format SD card storage feature.it won't increase your internal storage it will just replace it with SD card for example if you format 16 GB card than you will have only 16 GB not 32GB.many peeps have formatted there card thinking that they will get increased storage, you internal storage will still exist but it won't be accessible.
Sushant, 22 Apr 2016I have updated my OS to marshmallow!!! Should i factory reset the phone now cuz its kind of l... moreYes. It's suggested to factory reset. It was laggy for made as well post the update, but once I factory reset, the phone has been performing smooth. You will definitely lose all your data including apps.
drdm, 22 Apr 2016sir really i dont know...if we do factory setting we will loose all the saved data also which ... moreIf you have your contacts stored in your phone memory, then yes, you'll lose them. It's always advisable to save your contacts as a Google contact. All contacts will be stored in Google cloud and you'll never lose them. Regarding data, it's good to store your pictures and videos in the cloud. Try backing them up to Google photos which gives you unlimited storage if you backup with high resolution instead of original.
Adi.., 22 Apr 2016My idea was after formatting 16 gb external card as internal i will get 32GB as internal stora... moreI have 64Gb class 10 SD card i did format as internal, but when i moved my data it moved in to internal storage so mobile storage became full what it is useful to us i didn't understand.
Guys...I think the filters which we had in camera previously had been removed....I am talking about those effects such as negative, country, etc. Can anyone confirm this?
Are u sure Htc is going to give that update also! they had quite a tough time giving us the MM update... lol
If they do give another update just to enable 4G LTE, ohh boy I will be super-impressed with them!
