Hey guys, I had a long online chat with HTC India rep and according to them the update is still in pipeline and they are working on releasing the update for other devices too. I think the delay in release is because the update for other devices is not ready yet, according to them, they plan on releasing the update for all the expected devices on the same day.
DRajpal, 05 Apr 2016Any one with supported Nexus devices can download and flash image and do testing for Android ... moreYou are talking specifically for nexus devices, for company like Samsung and HTC u need to have permission for beta version(HTC provide the testing version).
DRajpal, 05 Apr 2016Any one with supported Nexus devices can download and flash image and do testing for Android ... moreIk HTC puts it's sense touch to every android upgrade, but marshmallow is already out for HTC one e8 in other countries, so most of the features and bugs are known(can't expect something new to come out than what is already there).
2nd bug : Double Tap to Wake not working when connected to usb through pc. We have to press power button to wake it while it is connected.
Dixitakarsh, 04 Apr 2016I tested beta of marshmallow(n a nexus device).and beta isn't allowed to be provided to anyone... moreAny one with supported Nexus devices can download and flash image and do testing for Android N as of now (same was the case for Marshmallow).
But it does not translate how HTC will customise it and what features will be there on HTC devices.
HTC has their own bugs to take care of.
