With this update your evdo data connection issues will get solved.So search for another update which I got already after lollipop update. I also faced evdo connection issues after lollipop update. But after again I got another update which solved this issue. Hope your problem get solved with that update

The HTC mobile phones are good but the service center is very worst than worst. The people sitting in service center not able to repair the device. They employed local non technical people inside.if you tell them product problems they even not having understand skills.that tvs service center is very worst. Small or big problem they simply tell that it takes15 days.After the15 days they tell that another10 days. You Rome around them up to 2 to 3 months and that Time they charge you almost 85% of the product costs. So that you simply don't agree for that. Then they give you old status product after one week. Means they don't repair that product.just time passes. So it's better you approach a consumer court with all proof, so you get new phone.that's the solution for you

If you wanted custom rom you should have done ur research properly and gone for a nexus or a samsung. Similarly like htc...a very few custom roms are available for the lg phones that doesnt mean they are not good devices.
buying the htc one e8 was the biggest mistake ever. It seemed like the right decision at the time, but however, there arent enough developers, users to create custom roms. There are only 2 custom ROMs in 1.5 yrs almost! (June '14 released) This alone makes me wanna tear my hair out looking at the development seen in the m8 forums ( which is an 98% similar to e8 except for nfc, dual sim and plastic body on e8). I feel like people should avoid the e-series on htc altogether - it simply doesnt have the developer support like the m8,m9!

No Android Lollipop 5.1 with Sense 7 on HTC ONE e8!
NEXT YEAR 2016 during month of MAY, HTC will roll out ANDROID M with Sense 7 for HTC ONE e8... and that will be the last update for this phone! Best of Luck, guys!

3 it opens recent app by it's set
3 very slow charging
4 fast at draining battery
NOTE I updated long ago and I have faced this problem Many times I also noticed nothing is touching my screen it's laying on the table first of all I REGRET TAKING HTC E8
HTC worst ever service i found at a service center.
Feeling Cheated And betrayed
Its so sad and unexpected response from HTC customer service.
I have been using HTC E8 since October 2014, last month my phone broke down and screen got damaged. I went to HTC service center in pune and submitted my phone for repair.
The lady at the service center checked my phone and told me only screen is damaged and the cost of the screen is 6500 and I m giving you an estimate of 8500 approx. When I submitted my phone, even though the screen was damaged I could see the display. I was told that it would take 15 days for us to repair and we will call you once its done. It was on 20th july when I submitted my phone.
It was more than a week I did not get any call from service center, so I called them asking for the status. The response of the person was so rude, he said they are not able to find the part to repair they will let us know once its done. I called them again after 4 days to find out and the response was "Don't call us again and again we will let u know once its done, we have told u it will take 15 days so till then don't call and disturb us". such rude response was not expected from service center. I have paid 35k for the phone not to listen to such things from them. They are here to help their customers and if they cant help they have no rights to be rude. I have got all the rights to check the status as I am without phone for 15days and I havent received any alternate phone from them to be used for temporary basis.
Finally, I decided to check the status with customer support than calling the service center people.
when I called customer support people on 3rd august(17th day after phone submission) to check the status, they informed me that phone is ready and I can go and collect it from the center and the cost is 17000, and description of the charge mentioned is screen. When i asked them why I wasnt informed about the status, they told me that phone was under testing till 1st august and now it is fully tested and you can collect it from the center.
I was under shock when I got the call from center on the same day saying the cost of repair is 17500+ 8500. Now, the cost they are saying is for motherboard and screen.
When I asked them why you did not inform me about motherboard damage, they told me that since they dint find the screen, they were unable to tell.
I realized that I have been cheated by service center, cos when I went to center, I was totally shocked.
1. My phone was not repaired, where as I was informed that phone is ready and fully tested.
2. Phone was in worse condition than I submitted.
3. Cost of screen was 6500 and they are saying its 8500
4. And why the hell it took 15 days for them to realize that mother board is spoiled. I am pretty sure that HTC engineer has spoiled the mother board cos it was with them for last 15 days.
The worst thing was when I explained my problem, customer support executive asks me to go to center and make them speak to the customer support representative. What the he;;, its my phone its HTC's service centre and they are asking me to make the 2 HTC's people speak, Don`t Have I any other work? Why Can't they directly contact the service center. Still, I went to center and made them speak. And after fighting for almost 45 mins, I had to come back empty handed from the center. When I asked the customer support executive if they have any senior with whom I can speak to or any grievance addressable team, I was told there is neither any senior nor any such grievance team.
I was really disappointed. I never expected such response and cheating, lies from HTC.
Now, after I raised a concern, service center guys updated the phone status to not ready.
It was highly unexpected from HTC
I`ll Never in my Life Go for HTC devices and i urge you please read my post and think before buying there products.
