I purchased a HTC One M8 in early December 2014. In late January 2015, the microphone stopped working (which is a common problem with these phones as they had to create a upgrade patch to fix it). I worked with online chat and they tried walking me through some repairs, but couldn't get it to work. Then they told me I had options either pay more money and have a USED replacement phone sent to me and then I need to send my phone back to them. Or the other option was to be without my phone for up to 2 weeks while they repair it for free. With hesitation I paid for the replacement phone. When it arrived, the used phone was broken and couldn't be charged. I have been dealing with a broken phone for several weeks and the only thing HTC will do is send me another USED phone. I will not have that since we have gone done that road before and they FAILED. I will only accept a new replacement phone, but HTC does not help its customers or stand behind its products they build.

Ben, 05 Feb 2015I'm sorry but you're horribly wrong. the Ultrapixel aspect twinned with the Duo Camera UFocus ... moreStop joking around. Not even funny anymore! My Galaxy S4 took much better pictures (more detail, for example) and I almost regret I bought the silly idea of this camera being decent. It's not, but it sure is good enough for random pictures.

subh, 07 Feb 2015Pls tell me about m8's battery and camera qualityBattery: quite good battery-life. Camera: terrible, but usable for social media - not for printing or viewing on a bigger screen.

Confused , need help, 06 Feb 2015I used the HTC one x , and the HTC one before, and now wanna get a new device but i am so conf... moreHTC m8 is always better than 5S. APPLE phones are good but os is not much flexible. Many claim that iso is faster than android. But the fact is that in ios we can't junk with many 3rd party softwares which we can do in android. This makes ios faster because mostly it runs on stock apps. So the truth is apple is just an expensive mobile. If u buy apple u will have one alternate apps, but in m8 u will have ten alternate apps with more performance.
Apple is no longer a leader in mobile because now almost all leading brands have premium flagships. In earlier scenario apple is the only one to provide premium feature and that's why it is considered as one of the best but not anymore.

M8 User, 07 Feb 2015Hi guys,I just updated my device to lollipop and really the battery drain fast as some users m... moreAndroid 5.0 has a few bugs. It seems like Project Volta is not working. Even LG and Moto users some issues who updated their phones to Android 5.0 have been facing issues. HTC will release a firmware update to fix the bugs. I think HTC should have released Android 5.0.1 update directly instead of Android 5.0. It doesn't matter even though it takes some time. Google fixed the bugs on Android 5.0 with the Android 5.0.1 update.

anyone complaining about high battery drain with 5.0 please do a wipe on the phone as well as turn on the power saver makes the biggest diff in the world. If you are not willing to do this dont say how bad the battery is.
