Guest, 09 Feb 2015Hello, I wanted to ask you some1 of you who using this kind of smartphone... I'm worried abou... morei have been using this phone for four months, and the camera is great, great clarity, pictures are sharp, even in low light pictures are awesome, the battery is great, works for a day and a half, and the best thing about this phone is its speakers
Is the headset of this phone is on the bottom part not on top side of the phone
I purchased a HTC One M8 in early December 2014. In late January 2015, the microphone stopped working (which is a common problem with these phones as they had to create a upgrade patch to fix it). I worked with online chat and they tried walking me through some repairs, but couldn't get it to work. Then they told me I had options either pay more money and have a USED replacement phone sent to me and then I need to send my phone back to them. Or the other option was to be without my phone for up to 2 weeks while they repair it for free. With hesitation I paid for the replacement phone. When it arrived, the used phone was broken and couldn't be charged. I have been dealing with a broken phone for several weeks and the only thing HTC will do is send me another USED phone. I will not have that since we have gone done that road before and they FAILED. I will only accept a new replacement phone, but HTC does not help its customers or stand behind its products they build.
Updated to Lollipop and have to tell you it was worth the wait.Super fluid Love you Htc.Hats off to the team for being and making this quietly brilliant.
Finally, lollipop has arrived in South Africa but my query is, is it worth to upgrade to new software. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what

My Galaxy S4 took much better pictures (more detail, for example) and I almost regret I bought the silly idea of this camera being decent. It's not, but it sure is good enough for random pictures.
subh, 07 Feb 2015Pls tell me about m8's battery and camera qualityBattery: quite good battery-life. Camera: terrible, but usable for social media - not for printing or viewing on a bigger screen.
Is it true that 4MP ultra pixels of this phone is equivalent to a normal 16MP. Thank you, and is itt like Samsung and Xperia which a user friendly, very straight forward you use...
I wanted to ask you some1 of you who using this kind of smartphone... I'm worried about the camera is it good or not? I mean does this smartphone do a good pictures on lamp. For example weather is darky and inside of your workplace is dark or something and you work on a lamp so is this smartphone do a good pictures>?
