If you want the best phone in the market go for HTC M8 . Waiting for what you don't know it's a recipe for disaster. Go and ask people who are using HTC M8 there'll tell you they have the fewest issues with their phones unlike other phones out there with lots of issues. HTC m8 will be pertinent even next year this time. Have a look at HTC m7 those who are using it, they show a crocodile smile throughout the day with their one year old. By the way, I'm typing with my HTC One Max that has frustrated Note3 in real terms. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what

can anybody help me out to select plz...I recommend you to wait for the M9. You will just have to wait another 3-4 months. If you are hurrying, I recommend the M8 Eye. It has a better camera than the M8. If you are into Sony phones, the Z3 is perfect for you. It has a great battery life. Sony plans to announce the Z4 in the next month at CES 2015.
If I were you, I would rather wait for the next year flagships.

Fellow HTCian...Have you tried to root your htc one m8...well, planning but im a little bit afraid that my phone will not function well,i watched those videos how to root and reasons why you should.. So far... So good... Maybe i will search more info.. Dont hesitate to comment and im willing to hear you suggestion. More power to htc...

AnonD-341190, 13 Dec 2014Traded my galaxy note 2 for a dual-sim M8, and it was my WORST MISTAKE of all time. Not snappy... moremaybe you got a faulty device or it is a fake.. one thing for sure is that the One M8 is by far the smoothess android smartphone on the market right now.. ;)

Traded my galaxy note 2 for a dual-sim M8, and it was my WORST MISTAKE of all time. Not snappy as claimed, camera takes an era to swipe from selfie to normal, and now with the newest update you swipe twice so make them two eras, ultrapixel camera is a joke, keyboard typing is like iphone 3G, you cant enable any feature without switching on the extremely annoying auto-correct. Features and operations are way less than galaxy and way more difficult at the same time!
The only two things i liked about this phone are the build quality & the awesome Boom sound. I really really am waiting for android 5.0 to see whether im going to withstand this phone or throw it in the garbage and get myself a proper galaxy!
