AnonD-341190, 13 Dec 2014Traded my galaxy note 2 for a dual-sim M8, and it was my WORST MISTAKE of all time. Not snappy... moremaybe you got a faulty device or it is a fake.. one thing for sure is that the One M8 is by far the smoothess android smartphone on the market right now.. ;)

Traded my galaxy note 2 for a dual-sim M8, and it was my WORST MISTAKE of all time. Not snappy as claimed, camera takes an era to swipe from selfie to normal, and now with the newest update you swipe twice so make them two eras, ultrapixel camera is a joke, keyboard typing is like iphone 3G, you cant enable any feature without switching on the extremely annoying auto-correct. Features and operations are way less than galaxy and way more difficult at the same time!
The only two things i liked about this phone are the build quality & the awesome Boom sound. I really really am waiting for android 5.0 to see whether im going to withstand this phone or throw it in the garbage and get myself a proper galaxy!

You recollect that I used to cry how my battery has dropped drastically under the helm of 4.4.4 but now my phone is back on taking almost 2 days without a charge. My battery is now doing a very good job as it used to be. Hopefully my Google store will commence to function who knows. Lol. Nonetheless, HTC for life no matter what

i have been using samsung s3 n s4 both phone started hanging after some time same like sony , but htc m8 is my first phone of htc n its awesome it dose not hang at all . i am using it since 6 months n i am not tired of looking at it too.one prob in htc is in its casing ,if u drop it ull get a good groove in it for sure .. i would recommend htc m8 to all

AnonD-339894, 09 Dec 2014Is it possible to upgrade HTC One (M8) with Android Lollipop (OS)?Why not, when HTC releases the Android L update, we will be able upgrade to Android L. I guess it will not happen this year. Hopefully, in January next year.

I recently received this beautiful device. However, I noticed whenever I call a #, the contact information does not show on screen, but when a contact calls, their information is visible. Any solution to this? Many thanks.

M8 User, 09 Dec 2014How to know if it's a GPE edition?Well if the user interface is not stock android then it is the Sense 6 version and not the GPE. I think you can check it out. Go Settings>About> Software information. If there is a HTC Sense Version then it is not the GPE.
