fellow Htcians,
last night my friend who's using iPhone 6 urged me to upgrade 4.4.4 to compare it with his iPhone in terms of speed and performance. so I did the upgrade but to my regret after the upgrade my Google store a place of downloading everything is not working. please help. it says background data must enabled when I enable background data nothing is happening. any urgent help? nonetheless, htc for life no matter what

AnonD-233366, 22 Nov 2014How fast charging work on m8... Bcoz i hv m8 but i didnt experienced yetMy M8 takes around 1 hr and 45 min to charge form 10% to 100%. If you buy the HTC Rapid Charger, you can charge the phone 40% faster than the ordinary charger.

Using this beautiful set for only a week after switching from Xiaomi MI 2S(the most beautiful compact set of 2013). Everything is fine; but missing the beautiful UI of 'Xiaomi'. Though UI of HTC M8 is lighter and better compared to other front liners; Xiaomi UI is a bit different and better to me. But the premium look, design and obviously the boom sound surely surpass other so called 'competitors', I find hardly any! Hats off to HTC, Keep going.

Actually Desire Eye camera is more than enough for a basic smartphone photographer. Still the M8 far away from the Desire Eye. Actually, I own a Canon 60D for photography. I don't really care about smartphone cameras. Still no phone camera except the Lumia 1020 can match the picture quality of a basic $200 Sony WX80. Every phone camera has limitations.
Anyway, HTC should fix the poor camera issue with their next flagship.

Maybe Desire Eye will match with the i... moreThere is a lot to be desired for every smartphone camera as there is no match with a point and shoot camera... HTC has a weaker camera, but for the purposes of taking pictures with your phone is very good.
Actually I see no loss compared to my previous z1 ... At least for my need.
If you are a serious photograph then no smartphone camera will do. Not yet... Maybe in years. We must understand that besides cmos, bsi sensor, the optics are very important, and it is impossible for now to fit great optics in such a small body of a smartphone.

I'm with you on that one, after upgrading to 4.4.3 within fortnight there was a new software 4.4.4 which I haven't updated because I still want to enjoy the benefits of 4.4.3. HTC must wait a bit with Android 5 it must at least next year around March. Mind you, according to HTC there's gonna be plenty of major update for HTC m8 for the coming 2 years. HTC for life no matter what
