M8 User, 21 Oct 2014what's new about the 4.4.4 update?The 4.4.4 update only brought the HTC "Eye Experience" package. Except that, there is not anything special. But I need the Android L update.

Anyone who is thinking of getting a case due to dropping the phone I highly recommend the casemate Barely There HTC One M8 Case the clear one looks and feels excellent and keeps the gunmetal grey visible aswell

I had my new m8 more than two most. Ago. Was happy with it until my screen started to looked faded and more vertical lines started appearing..I thought it was a slow moving wall paper bad it got worse and worse..it also have a black spot on top right corner..I showed my IT friend and he reckons, it is very bad, somehow there is something wrong with the hardware or software. I'm very disappointed with the outcome. I had so many phones before and I never seen anything like what I am seeing with HTC m8. I regret having it, I sometimes cannot hear the caller. I remember calling a call centre,every 10 seconds, I hear a sound that sounded like a croaking frog and I asked the guy what was that noise, he said he doesn't hear anything. Also, when I call overseas, they can hear me but I cannot hear them, I thought it was the reception and I would redial many times and eats up my credit. Now I realised, something wrong with the phone itself. Very very disappointed :(

i like this phone with dual stereo speakers.but it should be come with front home button like iphone and samsung

Don't get it camera is good not as great as lumia 1020 and GS5 but yeah every thing has its own flaws(THIS HAS TOO).Other than that it completely outperforms Iphone 5s and 6 on boot up, multi tasking,battery backup etc. Generally people who praises iphone are paid because they lag,heat up and have many software bugs.Never seen such a smooth phone(specially in android ecosystem). Thanks htc

AnonD-74627, 19 Oct 2014Use the htc case included in the box..it should be totally fineIt would help, but makes the phone just so damn ugly when put on. The phone is all good otherwise (very fast, good battery life), except for the disappointing bad camera. The M8 Eye version should fix that problem, though.

Fellow Htcians,
I live in south Africa yesterday I got a software update 4.4.3 but I haven't done anything with it because I'm enjoying 4.4.2. If your phone does marvellous things why hurry on updating. In February at Barcelona next year htc m8 will be crowned best phone for 2014. If not I will now know even corruption is in smartphone world. Nonetheless, htc for life no matter what

Shahmy, 18 Oct 2014Is there any problem in kit kat 4.4.4 version ?I haven't noticed anything. Battery life is as good as it supposed to be when the phone received its first updates. After that the battery life got a bit worse after a few updates. Now it's all good.
