AnonD-116479, 30 Sep 2014I'm not urging you to not to buy a Z3, but you have to think about this. Are going to pay $800... morethe thing is this.. htc has damn beautiful design and premium metal/aluminium body.. and plus all features which htc are offering, body makes it perfect than anyphone. that is why its world best phone.
Its the best phone at the moment, literary perfect build, not even small complain about build, perfect android ui, great battery, perfect sound, perfect display, nice camera, low sar rating... Only phone that can compare to this is xperia z3/z3 compact. Take this and u wont regret.

I throw the rubbish plastic body (S4) and get M8. I'm so happy with my M8. Really its an assume phone.
Best phone.features are excellent
Neetash , 01 Oct 2014What's the battery life of your one m8?I'm very confused on what handset to get.either the Z3... moreIf u ask me, z3 might have the upper hand being newer, but UI is better on M8.
Screen is very bright on z3 but colors are off. Also, keep in mind that you will have a flagship for only 6 months, and after that the attention will mainly be routed to the new flagship (new tweaks will be available on new flagship to differentiate from the ex-flagships).
I have used z1, was very good until i have updated...then phone wasn't that good, full of bugs. Was ok, but NOT the phone i have initially bought.
Now, htc one m8 seems very well balanced. probably best hardware and software optimisation on android world. Design is better than any other outhere.
I miss z1 for : waterproof and camera on daylight (good lighting conditions). On low light i don't have to tell you which is better :)
Correction, photo clarity I mean- screen resolution not camera photo. I have not tested with others but u will have manual mode in M8. Where u can adjust the ISO and shutter speed. Which I don't think you have in other phones. Wait for Oct 8 announcement and then decide. Good luck mate.
Neetash , 01 Oct 2014What's the battery life of your one m8?I'm very confused on what handset to get.either the Z3... moreI am satisfied with my M8 battery life. In normal use it stand 1 and half days. I use mostly for browsing and listening music. I don't play games much.
If you ask me, I choose M8 over any android phone anyday. The surfing/navigation is butterly smooth. The screen resolution is awesome. In my office we have tested the .photo clarity with Samsung S4/MI3/5S. Everybody said M8 is best.
I insist, go to showroom and test and compare it by yourself. If camera is ur concern, then wait for M8 eye.
End the day, the choice should be urs and you should not regret about that.
Trying to find out if the M8 will work with my car bluetooth. Its a Parrot mki9000.
Has anyone here successfully used their M8 with a Parrot brand bluetooth car kit?

For some reason I don't like the phone looks compared to M8. Also the E8 camera is not good in my opinion. I took some photos and the color looks washed out. You can try both the phone in showroom and compare. Pick the one u like. But if you ask me, I suggest u to wait till Oct 8 announcement and then decide. As rumors says M8 eye is on the way with better camera.
Hope the above suggestions will help you to decide a phone. Thanks!!!
AnonD-116479, 01 Oct 2014I normally get nearly 7 hrs screen on time. It's more than enough for a moderate user for use ... moreThanks. I will look at the Z3 or Z2 or perhaps the note 4(pricey though )
Neetash , 01 Oct 2014What's the battery life of your one m8?I'm very confused on what handset to get.either the Z3... morethe battery life will be way better in the m8. the z3 power saving features are a joke. the cameras in both gives different options and speed and quality and effects from each other, so both are good. im not a photographer so i will choose m8 over the z3. but then again if im a photographer both phones wont do much good for me other than a dslr camera.
After one week with a M8 (AT&T version), really like it. Came from a Nokia N9, and at first the M8 seemed too big, but now used to a 5" screen). Can get a full day on battery with about 30% left, if careful could easily go two days. Good hardware in a tight package. Will probably convert it to a Google version soon.
Neetash , 01 Oct 2014What's the battery life of your one m8?I'm very confused on what handset to get.either the Z3... moreI normally get nearly 7 hrs screen on time. It's more than enough for a moderate user for use around 2 days without charging. Moreover, the M8 has a feature called "Extreme Power Saving Mode" which increase the battery life when your phone running on low-battery.
Honestly, the M8 is not the right phone for you if you expect a good camera. If you specifically need an HTC phone with a good camera, HTC will announce the M8 Max in this month. According to rumours, it may have an 18MP rear camera with OIS. Or you can wait for the HTC M9 in the next year. I hope it will have a great camera.
If you like a Samsung phone, the Note 4 will be ideal for you.
Anonymous, 01 Oct 2014 As the subject of plenty of whispers earlier in the year, the so-called HTC One M8 Max/Prime ... moreExactly, that was a mistake. I have mentioned 16MP rear camera. It should be a 18MP rear camera with OIS. Let's see what will be the HTC M8 Max.

Reborn reports suggest that the smartphone could feature a 5.5-inch 2,560x1,440-pixel display and an 18-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization. Powered by Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6.5, other hardware could include a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 3,000mAh battery. Allegedly, HTC will build the phone out of an aluminum composite.
I hate HTC released 2 versions of this model..now im having a hard time choosing between M8 n E8..Its so much better if only got 1 version..
AnonD-276592, 30 Sep 2014The only thing discourages me from buying M8 is its stupid camera, I have no choice but to buy Z3."dual 4 mega pixel"...performs very very well. Try it
AnonD-116479, 30 Sep 2014I'm not urging you to not to buy a Z3, but you have to think about this. Are going to pay $800... moreAgree. At present note 4 seems the best. If u don't like the size, then wait for S6, M9 or z4.
